This was our second choice for a meal as the first place we went to ran to the door and locked it and flipped the neon open sign off when we pulled in even though it was slightly less than an hour before they closed. Could be that we lucked into the better choice anyway! Booths tables and high tops , you'll find plenty of seating. Our server was timely and checked in with us time to time but I'd say the food was the star of the evening. Started with the mozz sticks (4) and they are about a quarter size squares on a stick about 3-4" long. Decent layer of crunchy breading and tasty mozz but we could have used more vodka sauce than what was supplied on the plate. She got the chicken sandwich which was fried and came with slaw and pickles on it. Side of fries is extra but they are the Mardi Gras county fair type ; a bit thicker cut with skin on. The perfect kind for salt and vinegar. Not really sure I've ever heard her crow about a chicken sandwich as much as she did. She said perfect amount of crispy breading and very tasty. I got a burger and I thought I was getting a specialty type burger when I ordered "the goodness" from the menu. I was informed it was not what I thought but each of the items listed was a $2 add on. I said screw it and got them all anyway. Those items were : an egg , bacon , brisket , mozz cheese , prosciutto , and ham. Those on a bun with a patty about an inch+ thick that goes edge to edge of the bun. Damn! I don't know how they season the meat (at least a simple salt and pepper) but it was damn good and tasted as if it came right off my grill at home and with the items above , good lord , that was a fantastic sandwich. One app , a water and a coke , two sandwiches and fries and our bill was $52.xx. Obviously would have been less had I not put $14;of extras on mine but it was ssoooo worth it! Edit : stopped in on Saturday evening 7/8/23 and we both got pizza. Once again , very good food. Good toppings , gooey cheese , a nice crust. I'd have eaten the whole thing has it not been for the suggestion of a fudge brownie for dessert. Large portion of soft vanilla ice cream , some cherries and whipped cream to go with what had to be a 4"X4"x1" brownie. Was enough to serve two or maybe you want to just scarf the whole thing down...
Read moreMy husband and I had stopped in over the weekend to grab a bite to eat because we had heard this is the new spot in willowick. Our servers name was mandy, and she was above and beyond outstanding. The entire restaurant was completely packed and she still managed to continuously check up on us. The young lady at the door greeted us hello and goodbye. She was even very patient with us when my outlandish husband talked her ear off on the way out. My main complaint is definitely the bathroom. You totally get the bar feeling as soon as you enter the bathroom. The stall doors remind me of being back in high school, and not to mention the soap dispenser doesn't even work. There was some dollar tree hand soap in there that was very watered down. It's claimed to be foam soap but some booger like substance is what comes out. The toilet didn't seem to be stuck to the ground completely because when I sat down the whole toilet shifted, and I am not a heavy woman. Both stall doors had more then one lock on the door which was quite confusing. The dart room is a very great and useful amenity that this place has to offer. They even have bar bowling which caught my husbands eye.I think a pool table would do this place justice! Overall I would love to come back and give this place another try. The food was delicious and the garlic bread that came with my chicken parmigiana was amazing. We will be back and next time with our kids! Thanks...
Read moreI'm very disappointed and would not recommend eating here. My friends and I were really hoping for a restaurant with a fun vibe and great food selection... this had neither. We arrived at 5:30pm on a Wednesday, hoping for a happy hour...nothing! It was very cold when we walked in, and our waitress agreed and said she would ask the owner to turn on heat. The floor is just an old cemment slab, not redone, and it looks like an old basement floor that had its carpet ripped out. My friend ordered a specialty drink they had on a small drink menu made with vodka, lemonade, and Blue Berries... but they didn't have Blue Berries?? they are closed on Monday and Tuesday, this is Wednesday and you just opened at 4pm, how are you out of items?? 🤦🏽♀️There's an Aldi a few doors down...lol. Since it was so cold inside, soup for starters sounded good, and the menu had Italian Wedding Soup, but when I ordered it, they said they didn't actually have that, but had Chicken Noodle... not the same, folks! Then my friend asked for Bailey's and decaf coffee... they dont have decaf coffee. 🤦🏽♀️ We ordered a pizza, fried cauliflower, and a pizza roll. It was all ok, nothing exciting. They have a $22 Pretzel on the menu, not sure who pays that for a pretzel. 😂 There is no picture on the menu for that, which probably should be! Nothing stood out, and we will not be back, disappointed.. but too many other amazing restaurants are not...
