DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! Went in last week with my sister, wearing shorts, nice shirt, flip flops. Not a soul in the store besides us. Like last reviewer, the female employee looked us up and down. I asked if they had any estate/vintage/antique jewelry. She went to the back, a man came out and said they had "pieces in the safe, what was I looking for". I said I wasn't looking for a particular piece (ring, pendant, etc) as I look for all kinds of pieces. He said "Yes, it's fun to look at, isn't it?" which I took to insinuate that he didn't think I could actually purchase a piece! Then said "Oh, well if you knew what kind of piece you were looking for, I'd bring them out. Why don't you come back next Monday, I should have it out Monday". I happen to have to go to the AAA office for insurance 10 days later, and decided to stop in to see the amazing estate pieces too precious to show me last time. Guess what? THREE female employees standing around, not a soul in the store other than myself. Woman asks if she can help me, I tell her same as last time. She shows me to a case and says "there are new rings in here...colored stones". I looked at them and said "these are new" and she says, "Yes, but they COULD be estate. Estate just means pre-owned." So I showed her the 1930's 13 carat Burmese sapphire on my hand, and the 1950's 3 carat diamond flower ring on my other hand, and said "I'M LOOKING FOR GOOD, PRE-OWNED VINTAGE OR ANTIQUE PIECES". As before, she goes to the back and says they have pieces in the vault, but they're not out yet because they've been so busy. REALLY? On both occasions there was NO ONE in the store and the employees appeared to be doing nothing. Clearly too busy to pull out a tray or two from the back for a potential customer. I hope they read my review because I want them to know my collection has been featured in books, I buy continuously for myself as well as several dealers in the US. I am a certified gemologist. You have no idea the kind of business you turn away with your apathy. She was so happy. See her husband told her he would get her a new one and she refused because to her it wasn’t a new ring she wanted she wanted the one her loving husband bought her because every ring has a meaning behind it. When her spouse passed I panicked and called all jewelry repair companies and they wasn’t able to fix her ring for her to wear at her husbands funeral.
