I was given a gift from here last week but it didn’t fit. I went to exchange it and they employees were very nice and said I could do that and asked if I wanted to look around first. So, I spent almost an hour looking around and trying things on and found something to exchange it with (that was $30 cheaper than the original gift). When I gave them the item I was going to exchange it with, that’s when they decided to tell me I can’t actually return the item that doesn’t fit because it was purchased more than 30 days ago. Turns out the person that bought me the gift, planned ahead like most people do, and bought it in late February. So now I’m stuck with an item that does not fit me and the gift giver wasted $90 on something that’s never going to get worn. I asked how I was supposed to know that it could not be returned, they said I should have looked at the gift receipt or their website. I was not given a gift receipt from the person, just told that they put the order under my name, and looking at the website for the return policy would have given me no knowledge that this item was purchased in February instead of march. Now I get having return policies, but when people give gifts 30 days is not enough. Especially when pink turtle is still going to get the money because it’s going to be exchanged with an item in their store. So, if you are looking to get a gift for someone, stick to the big name stores that allow store credit or exchanges for way longer than 30 days. Otherwise, they will leave you literally crying in the car because someone spent so much money on a gift for you that will...
Read moreSubpar experience today at the pink turtle - I had plenty of clothes picked out to try on. The girls let me know there were only 5 items per fitting room from now on. Every few minutes I was out of the fitting room trying to filter through my pile of clothes. I felt extremely monitored as they watched me and kept trying to grab the clothes from me that I was wanting to try on. Eventually I just quickly grabbed a pair of shorts and was going to try them on to which the associate gave me a rude look and deliberately laughed at me! Made the whole experience extremely uncomfortable, quickly wrapped up my shopping and ultimately decided to let the girls know that I really didn’t appreciate the way they made me uncomfortable and laughed at me to which they were both extremely combative and were raising their voices in the store and arguing back and forth with me. I let them know I’m not here to argue and that the experience made me uncomfortable and that it’s constructive feedback for their next interaction and that it makes me want to no longer shop at their location. I spent $500 and I am in their store quite often and have always had success shopping there. I was given a very sarcastic apology with a dirty look and as soon as I started walking away they began laughing at me again as I left! Very embarrassing and uncomfortable experience I hope they hire nicer girls...
Read moreI went to the Rehoboth location around 4pm on 12/21/23 and had the most awful experience, there were 2 sales girls who were both unprofessional and unattentive. From the moment we walked in, they were talking about their personal lives and inappropriate gossip that no customer should be hearing. I asked a simple question and I was rudely, sarsacticaly answered. This is shocking to me because I have been a long time customer and have purchased a lot from this store. When paying, the girl servicing me acted like I was inconveniencing her and rolled her eyes at me. I still ended up buying things, but I will not be returning. These girls put a horrible face to this business....
