Ulta Beauty — Local services in Wilson

This is the Ulta in my town (which I’m grateful to have close by) but honestly I’m not impressed at all with this location.

The associates are fine, but they aren’t very knowledgeable and aren’t very helpful.

I was looking for a specific product over the winter so I asked the cashier up front and she said they didn’t have it meanwhile I went and found it right near the registers! I went to kindly show her that they do in fact have it, she looked at the product and said “oh this one’s different - that’s not it” when in fact it wasn’t different at all, just the packaging was limited edition. I just said “ummm ok” and paid. lol.

Another time a free gift came with my purchase and they didn’t have that (the gift) in stock so the girl just threw a mascara to the cashier and said “here just give her this” but it’s not what I wanted. She didn’t even give the option for me to pick something, she just threw this trial size mascara (that I already have and didn’t want) when I deliberately bought this item to receive the advertised gift.

Their stock is also not good at all. I go in looking for fairly popular items that they never seem to have.

It’s just a mediocre Ulta location with very mediocre, unknowledgeable associates who don’t really care. I only go in there to get my usual products - I’m never even tempted to browse in this...

First time at this location, now we have no intention to return to this location. We were not greeted, this location didn't have the items we came for. Still found something to purchase, upon arriving at the checkout employees left and said they would be back in a moment. Waited, the short-haired little girl returned, we proceeded to check out. She asked for our phone number in which we declined stating (No, and No thanks) and she proceeded with an attitude to speak over my husband and I asking were we sure and blabbering on about how they would solicit deals... She best understand ("No Means NO In Every Instance") yet again we declined and she slung my bag down. She needs to be reprimanded and made aware of her behavior. We will just stick with the nicer locations with the helpful employees...

Went to do a curbside pickup at 5:45 and I opened my app when my order was ready and it allowed me to choose curbside so I pulled up said I was on the way and said I was here. I can see the girls through th glass window grab my order and set it on the counter. I waited and waited and finally I went inside and asked if they did curbside and they said not after 5. Ok? The app doesn’t say anything about it not being after 5 it let me do curbside as an option. Secondly, you saw me sitting there and new I was there by grabbing my order I just thought it was rude and that maybe the employees took it upon themselves to not go curbside after 5 out of laziness. And on top of that the vitamins I ordered expired in March of 2023… we are in December! Clear your shelves! Someone...
