DG Market — Local services in Winchester

I’d never recommend going to this dollar general location. On December 27th, an employee who claimed to be the manager threw a very large chair at me and proceeded to charge towards me after cursing me out. This happened because when I was asked to leave my backpack at the front desk, I asked why a lady who was in line was allowed to keep her backpack on and have a dog in the store. I quickly left the store and called the police but left after more than 2 hours because the police never came and the dollar general had already closed so most of the employees left. Today, precisely 3 weeks later I enter the parking lot and there are cop cars outside (dealing with another matter), I proceed to grab bread and ketchup and purchase it. The lady in the photos who claims to be the dollar general district manager approaches me and says that I am 86’d (banned) from the store. I’ve been going to this dollar general for months and anytime I’ve seen this lady she has flirted with me and made me uncomfortable, even calling me “jail bait” after realizing how young I was. Now that I’ve ignored her many flirtatious advances and reported her coworker to the corporate office for throwing a chair at me she decides to lie and tell the police that I shoplifted a few weeks ago and threw a container of water. In reality, I dropped the container of water trying to dodge the chair that the employee threw at me and I have NEVER shoplifted. The lady in the photos saw this as the perfect opportunity because someone can’t be banned from a store unless the police are at the scene, so she decided to makeup a lie on the spot about the chair throwing incident. I asked the police to review camera footage so that they can see I have never shoplifted or threw water but they claim that their cameras aren’t working. Yeah right. I already reported the chair throwing incident to the dollar general corporate office a few weeks ago and I haven’t seen the employee who threw the chair at me after complaining, I assume she either got fired or moved to another location. Today I had to report to the corporate office that this lady lied and told the police I shoplifted and threw water even though there is no proof of that or else I’d SURELY be in jail. I need to be unbanned and this lady in the photos needs to move to another location because she is a liar and a creep! Oh and by the way, this was the 4th time I went into that location after the employee thew the chair at me and I saw the lady pictured each time…she never said i stole or told me to leave, she kept up her same flirtatious act. And when I called corporate, they said she isn’t even the district manager and that the district...

👀⭐💯🗿🎈🎯💣Wow! 🗯️🔶⚜️💲🏁🎁🎩I must admit that I was quite surprised the other day when I went in to Dollar General! In a good way. I wasn't in the best of moods to say the least. I was looking for some bubble wrap because I had some boxes that needed to be mailed out. I asked the first sales lady if she would help me and she gave me a mean look, and proceeded to ask me "If I'm able to find another associate to help me because she really don't want to leave her post!" I said "sure! Fast-forward ⏩ to me still not finding the dang bubble wrap.⏩

And I saw another associate but was a little nervous because he was huge..And I did NOT want this guy to get upset. And, guess what?I did not have to bug him, because he bugged me instead. Lol His name was Dain. Sooo professional, and excellent with his customer service skills. His energy was Amazing, and I was loving how he smelled, and he just seemed so un-scripted, and genuine. Unlike the other associate that did not help at all. Dain, and this other lady are like completely opposites. Anyway, I feel as if I'm writing a novel so let me get to the point. I love my neighborhood Dollar General but I have discovered a treasure inside. He literally makes Dollar General so much better. If you go you should ask for him even if you don't...

It is HARD to spend more than $45 at this market which is a plus I guess? This is not a place to come if you are buying anything other than pre-packaged or some frozen food. To buy the meat is to take your life into your own hands... I have actually witnessed E-Coli shopping here.

ALSO this is NOT a place to come if you are in a hurry. I think I have literally seen people DIE in line and have the staff from the hospital across the street come to wheel them away still clutching their ghetto poison in their hands.

I will be honest. The neighborhood around where I live does not attract the glitteratti, the posh, or the newly minted moneied... however that doesn't mean that there aren't some here. I love to see them in this market along with the large amount of riff raff that we have here in Las Vegas (why is that by the way).

I find the most awesome deals on staples in cans, boxes, and baggies here. Booze pricing is alright but beer selection tends to lean towards the gangster (lean). This one is for me, this one is for my dead homies who were arrested and/or shot in the raid on the grow house at the Country Club just behind the store.

The main thrust and issue I have isn't that this is a low income bastion... the REAL issue I have is just how slow the service is... in fact to call it service is a DISSERVICE. SPEED UP THE CHECK OUT PROCESS!

We have a joke in my household that you can't just run to Dollar General Market... you can run there but you will be far older when you return. SO instead just go to Albertsons which is what we do when we need higher quality items and are happy to pay for self check out and/or faster service.

I would not purchase meat at Dollar General Market... how I wish you were a Fresh & Easy instead.

Voy a ser honesto. El barrio alrededor de donde yo vivo no atrae la glitteratti, el pijo, o la recién acuñada moneied ... Sin embargo, eso no quiere decir que no haya algunos aquí. Me encantaría verlos en este mercado junto con la gran cantidad de riff raff que tenemos aquí en Las Vegas (¿por qué es que por el camino).

Me encontrar las ofertas más increíbles en productos básicos en latas, cajas y bolsitas aquí. Booze precio está bien, pero la selección de cerveza tiende a inclinarse hacia el gángster (magra). Esta es para mí, esto es para mis homies muertos que fueron detenidos y / o de un disparo en el allanamiento de la casa de cultivo en el Country Club, justo detrás de la tienda.

El principal problema que tengo y no es que este es un bastión de bajos ingresos ... el problema real que tengo es qué tan lento el servicio es ... de hecho, por llamarlo de servicio es un flaco favor. Acelerar el proceso de check out!

Tenemos una broma en mi casa que no puedes correr al mercado Dollar General ... puede ejecutar allí, pero te será mucho mayor cuando regrese. Así que en lugar basta con ir a Albertsons, que es lo que hacemos cuando tenemos mayores elementos de calidad y están dispuestos a pagar por sí mismo y echa un vistazo a service / o más rápido.

Yo no compraría carne en el mercado de Dollar General ... cómo me gustaría que fuera un Fresh & Easy...
