My boyfriend his brother and I went there yesterday night to celebrate his brotherâs 21st birthday. I definitely would not recommend this place. The workers when you first walk in are friendly but the people who work at the bar need to work on their customer service skills. When the three of us sat down no one greeted us or even bothered to take our order for quite some time. Finally one person did after some time went by, keep in mind we went on a Wednesday night and it was not busy around 9 pm. When we asked the bar tender if he could recommend any drinks he very blandly told us to look at the menu which we already had and itâs a very long menu hence thatâs why we asked him that. We politely said ok and once we had something chosen the man had been gone for some time in the back so we asked another gentleman that was at the bar for help/drink orders and he rudely with a lot of sarcasm responds â Yea you can order when a bartender is here I donât serve the drinksâ and I responded back to him to let him know that came off very rude. He then throws his hands up with a dirty look on his face goes to the back and gets the first man we spoke with about our drinks. I ended up not ordering anything just due to the lack of respect from the second worker. The drink ended up coming in a can and the nachos his brother ordered were expensive and bland nothing but tortilla chips and one small scoop of bean. Nothing was honestly worth the money or time. Plus they donât tell you when you go in that you need quarters to play some of the games as they state â all games are included with entry feeâ. All in all after seeing the reviews on here I shouldnât be surprised at how bad the customer service is.
In response to the ownerâs recent crappy reply, this definitely was the place that I went to. Iâm not confused about where I was visiting. You guys had a cosplay night going on the gentleman that spoke rudely to me look to be Africa American possibly and the guy who was supposed to be the actual bartender was a Mexican guy with a mustache That was styled and a gentlemanâs haircut. Also there was a blonde girl that night that was working. And if all of your machines didnât take quarters, there was a quarter machine back there So Iâm pretty sure some of those pinball games do you need quarters. Instead of acting so defensive, maybe you should just work on the customer Here for your bar. It doesnât matter if you have over 1000 good reviews thereâs plenty of bad ones too. But yeah, nice try trying to say that I was at the wrong place. This is definitely the place I was at and again I would never go back again or spend...

If you're a gaming enthusiast like me, Player One is the ultimate oasis you've been searching for in Las Vegas. This video game bar is nothing short of spectacular, earning every one of its five stars.
From the moment you step inside, you're transported to a gamer's wonderland. The decor is a nostalgic trip down memory lane, with classic arcade cabinets lining the walls and iconic gaming memorabilia on display. It's like a museum for video game history, and it sets the perfect tone for what's to come.
The gaming selection available is truly impressive. It features a range of games, from classic titles such as Pac-Man and Donkey Kong to newer games like Tekken, Streetfighter, and Time Crisis - my personal favorites. Whether you prefer retro or modern games or enjoy playing solo or with others, you're sure to find something here that suits your tastes. Additionally, the staff is highly knowledgeable and always willing to assist you in selecting the perfect game to match your mood.
Now, let's talk about the cocktails and food. The menu is a gamer's dream come true, with drinks and dishes inspired by popular games. The "Health Potion" cocktail was a personal favorite, and the "Power-Up Nachos" were a delightful surprise. The team behind the bar and kitchen is just as passionate about gaming as the patrons.
What truly sets Player One apart is the atmosphere. It's a place where gamers can come together, connect, and share their love for gaming. The community vibe is fantastic, and I've met some incredible people here. My brother and I had a fantastic time playing PVP on Street Fighter and taking on pinball machines. It's a digital self-deprivation getaway where you can leave your worries at the door and game out for a couple of hours. I highly recommend it!
Player One provides an extensive range of activities and entertainment options, such as engaging trivia nights and exhilarating gaming tournaments. This makes it the perfect destination to socialize and connect with individuals who share similar interests, whilst simultaneously indulging in a lively and enjoyable evening with your companions.
Overall, Player One has become my go-to spot in Las Vegas. It's a haven for gamers, a place where nostalgia meets the future, and where you're guaranteed a fantastic time. I can't recommend it enough. If you're in Vegas and love gaming, you absolutely must pay a visit to Player One!

Read moreMy husband and I are from Minnesota which hosts the best arcade bar in the country (in my opinion--Up Down Bar). I knew I wanted to find a video game bar in Vegas but The Nerd Bar in Neonopolis is an NFT Cringelord's paradise.
We found Player 1 Bar and decided to take an Uber ride down from Fremont street to check it out. I was a little scared rolling up to it as it is situated in a strip mall--but it definitely stands out with its neon lights at night.
The person at the front counter was friendly and the price was great for being Vegas especially since it's all you can play for one cover charge! The decor inside is fantastic and video game nerdy. They had a lot of old arcades inside (I believe many of them are sort of niche arcade games), unfortunately, many of them didn't work as intended with joysticks that stuck or buttons that didn't work at all.
The bar was packed for being the middle of the week! I felt bad that there were only two bartenders for literally a bar that was wall to wall people on all seats. Their craft beer list is really incredible, there was a lot to choose from. The bartenders were dressed up--one from Demon Slayer and the other was a female Wario. They both did their best to sling drinks to such a crazy busy bar--both were very friendly gals.
The drink prices are probably on point with Fremont St but definitely less than the Strip.
What set this apart for me compared to many video game bars in Minnesota is the fact that they have modern offerings as well. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like it was inherently apparent on how to get a controller until we had been there for an hour or two (you pay $5 deposit and upon returning the controller, you get your money back) and it was confusing which televisions you could play on what system or how to request a game.
I've gotta tip my hat to this bar, I was quite drunk and took my purse off to play Guitar Hero and left it and walked off and it wasn't til I was playing something else that I realized I didn't have it and had a panic attack. The patrons must be true solid friendly types, as someone had brought my purse to the bar and the bartender was able to get my purse to me (brownie points).
I loved this bar, and will definitely be back if I ever come back to Vegas. My only suggestion to management would be to put up better signage in regards to how checking out a controller/playing modern games works and do a bit better on fixing...
