Long line - particularly during the peak time of the day that is lunch. So if you plan to go try to be early. Check the opening hours literally, otherwise hold your patience for a
Long wait - and when youāre finally seated, wait even longer. if you are hungry go elsewhere otherwise prepare to get disappointed for that food and lose appetite when it finally comes.
Food - āitās hit and missā, if you cook Filipino then drop expectations, thereās nothing really special about it. Plenty of really good and easy recipes on YouTube nowadays. If you donāt, I hope you like it.
Price - a little above average for the quality and presentation. Meh. Iām unconvinced.
Service - 2.5 stars overall, SOME staff look tired and strained and can be less friendly. The young staff are observably more accommodating and patient. Iāve never seen them used the alcohol gel and thatās concerning as they touch plenty of surfaces and things around them. Theyāre hiring though.
Ambience - come with zero expectations. If you want a quiet conversation with āa halo- halo dateā this place is a āno goā; when itās packed, food courts are better. Loud chatters, mixed clients walking around. Some only after the goodies on the shelves, some collecting ātakeoutsā, cakes being paraded with no cover.. there was even a time when dogs are welcomed. Itās āpalengkeā inside.

Overall.. 3 stars and thatās being generous. Perhaps because I have known Goldilocks since I was a kid back in the Philippines and I still remember how the food were seriously sumptuous and mouth watering like for example the dinuguan was served with a āputoā thatās carefully placed on a small clean plate not like the one here where they gave us a whole box that has about 10 pcs! The reason why I keep coming to this place is perhaps because it is Goldilocks and I am still hoping things are better some days. My fourth time last Sunday. I guess the next time is going to be in a long while.

Spoke to the Manager who saw me standing waiting for a long time to which she never bothered to ask if I needed assistance. While waiting a cashier walk in for her shift, removed her mask and started digging into her nose in front of me, put her mask back on and started working on the register and ask if i needed help. I told her I am waiting for my order and told her to clean her hands before touching anything since she just dig into her nose. I have seen her did the same thing several months ago. (maybe shes got wormsš) she handles register, cash, cc then get food for customers order never sanitized. Urg urg urg š. The world has been reminding people to wash, sanitized, disinfect your hands for over a year and she (people) still dont get it. People should not be reminded of this , just common sense...but some people are UN COUTH š¤Øš¤Øš¤Ŗš
Mentioned these issues to the manager. There were several customers who came in for dining after me, was served, and I am still waiting. Its ABSURDš·
Dining ....wait time is long...3 star
Placing order via telephone for pick up.... 4 star
Placing order and wait.... 1 star
Food taste..... 3 star
Customer service.....1 star
Staff dont seem to get along with each other. Staff needs proper training for customer service and food handling... but then i guess they just hire whoever they can get help from....šŖš¬šššš
The same manager for several years, I guess it will never change.
Staff needs to follow covid protocols. Not only wearing mask but cleansing, if you handle money, wash your hand before touching the food. Change your gloves in between.
Been to this place at least 10 times in 6 years and I encountered issues at least 4 times.
Another issue with this place was they were giving out sponge cake with mold(mamon) for free when you use...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreService has gone down and continues to go down every time I return, in both the bakeshop and restaurant. The only reason I even ever come back is because of the quality of the cakes, which as of recent has been a complete and utter disappointment. The last time before my current attempt to buy cake was a 10 minute wait before I was finally serviced. Then I was passed over to someone else to get a simple greeting on my cake. A person who obviously looked confused (and with good reason) went to the back and wrote happy birthday on my chosen cake. When he came back, it was wobbly, and the icing color was far from a good compliment to the rest of the cake. My most recent attempt was more of a disappointment. I wanted a chocolate cake, but there were none. So I settled for a chocolate marbled cake. The one on display had flowers and I kindly asked if there was a way to get it without flowers. The younger woman at the counter said "No". She didn't try to meet me in the middle, she didn't try to see if she can fix the problem. Nothing. Just a simple no. I would have paid $50 for that cake. If this place continues the way it does, I expect further decline and service comparable to...
