Very pleased with how the whole virus situation was being taken seriously at this store. The girl at the register was very polite and explained that she was wiping everything down between customers. It was very appreciated to see her wiping down not only the payment terminal but all of the stuff that the customer may touch and wiping down the belt before I put my groceries down on it. While I am sure there will be a customer somewhere that complains that it took too long, I greatly appreciate all she was doing to keep me safe as well as herself. I have to say that I also noticed the employees walking around wiping down all the handles to the freezers as well as other areas that customers may touch. While I am not sure if it is necessary to be that strict about wiping things down, I know that any customer that noticed, felt better about being there today. I will remember that when choosing which store to shop at in the future because this store did its best to keep us, the customers, safe...
Read moreThank you so much target after ordering a bookshelf online because I have a very fussy 1 year, as I drove to pick up my order my 1 year old fell asleep after screaming for close to an hour because she had 4 shots yesterday. I politely called and explained that my baby had just fallen asleep and I just needed to pick up an order I had my email confirmation up and my ID out and asked if there was anyway someone could meet me near the doors so I didn't have to wake up my 1 year old who had just fallen asleep! She very rudely answers no... u need to come in the store. So I got there woke up my child and walked inside to say I needed to pick up an order she asked for my last name and said go ahead and pull up we will bring it out. THANK YOU target I just got to take the 45 minute ride back home with a screaming 1 year old because your employee couldn't have just met me half way...
Read moreI had a terrible experience while doing a Shipt pickup at this Target. I went in with a fully paid order, just needed help checking out through the Shipt process. I even showed the manager the Shipt app and order screen, but she acted completely unfamiliar and refused to let me leave with the one item (baby formula). It felt like she was accusing me of something, which was extremely uncomfortable, unnecessary and awkward.
Thankfully, a team member overheard and immediately stepped in, recognized it was a Shipt order, and helped me complete the checkout with no issues. Only then did the manager change her tone..
This experience felt discriminatory and unprofessional. As a shopper just doing my job, I expected better treatment. Shipt and Target should ensure their managers are properly trained and treat gig workers...
