Mattress Firm Winchester — Hotel in Winchester

There is a reason for the 4 star review, but it is not reflective of outstanding service given to me at the store. The gentleman's name at the Winchester Va. store that helped me on 10/13/23 was Dallas. I must tell everyone that the knowledge and professionalism he displayed was off the charts. It has been my experience that this kind of customer service is something that is extremely rare in today's times. I could continue with many more accolades to describe my wonderful experience that night, but I think you understand how pleased I am. Dallas was terrific and I give him a 100+++. Now to address the experience with Synchrony Bank, they are the absolute worse PERIOD!!! This is not the first time I've attempted to do business with them, and once again they have failed miserably. I think Mattress Firm should find another financial partner as I will never allow them to waste my time again, they are rock bottom awful. I purchased a mechanical frame and mattress and would like to tell everyone that they far outshine the competition ie: Mattress Discounters. My experience with that company was excruciatingly painful, but in hindsight they did me a favor, because after leaving that store, I immediately went to Mattress Firm and so glad I did. i left with a mattress. which i was extremely happy about! i was helped as soon as i walked through the door and felt like i was getting the information and attention i needed to find the right mattress for me. first night on the bed proved great, i absolutely was provided in the right direction. the sales associate was friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. i was very pleased and was helped with getting the mattress out the door and loaded up.

the only complaint/criticism i have is the sales associate did offer two free pillows with my purchase to "sweeten the deal" which at the time i thought was nice. however one i was home and opened up the packaging, the pillows were in very rough shape; i understand that they had been display pillows which didn't bother me, but the "pillows" actually are completely deteriorating and disintegrating and there's no usable substance to them and i will not be able to use them, even decoratively in shams. i had to throw them out, even though they were free, i think it would be important to check the state of the products before offering...

We had already been by another mattress store around the corner and we were looking for a couple twin mattresses for the kids. We were definitely committed to making a purchase before the day was done, but we were planning on checking all of our options. We went in to Mattress Firm thinking we would just look at some of the cheapest options and be on our way. Our sales rep, Victoria, was very helpful and friendly. Since there is only 1 twin bed on display, she gladly swapped mattresses back and forth, back and forth for my kids to test them out. She was very patient. I was still on the fence about buying before checking out all the options, but she was very understanding through all of it. She mentioned the promo for the holiday, but I didn't feel heavy pressure or a rushed "sales pitch". I was very pleased with all of it, so we just made the purchase right there. It may not have been a big sale, but she treated us as if we were buying the most expensive thing in the store. I will be back for future mattress purchases as needed.
