We set up an appointment for an estimate with George for a Thursday, he didn’t show or call. We left a message that was not returned. We called again and he said he doubled booked and we made new arrangements for him to come out on a Saturday. George told my husband to come to the store and he would follow him up to our home. When my husband arrived at the store on Saturday George wasn’t there but was out in Albrightsville and done for the day after that. George’s son was at the front desk with his feet up and was extremely rude when my husband explained why he was there. He said we didn’t need an estimate, just buy the stove and put it in ourselves. He was very dismissive of my husband’s technical questions about which stove was right for our home and even made negative comments about his own father. We were shocked at the extreme lack of respect and professionalism from this place. As a small business owner myself I am appalled by the customer service we received. I’ve double booked appointments before, mistakes happen, but the very first thing I do is call and apologize to my customers. I know how difficult it can be to run a small business especially during busy season and for that reason I’ve given George and Cozy Barn plenty of time to return our calls and resolve the issue offline but have not heard anything back. I have never left a negative review online and I’m sad to have to do this but our experience was just that bad. Read moreCouldn't be more satisfied. Had a 17 year old pellet stove that we hope makes it thru the winters. This year finally had it and just stopped working. We contacted the place where we get it serviced and were put on a wait list. 200th on the list so probably wouldn't be until March or April. Decided to buy a new one and they didn't have any. 10-12 weeks to receive then about another 4-6 weeks for install. Contacted Cozy Barn on Facebook and they had stoves in stock and would be about a week for install. Went the next day and service was outstanding. All questions answered and no pressure to buy or upsell. Delivered and installed 2 days later. This unit was smaller than the one we had but much more efficient and does a better job. Was told he would be here at 10AM, 9:30 if he gets an early start. 10AM no service and no phone call. I have had to call twice, it is now 11:45AM and after second call was told the guy is at Rite Aid(duh) they are going out of business and he is having an allergy attack. His eyes are red. Do I want to reschedule is what I was asked. Do they truly think people have nothing else to do. Initial person when I called was rude and over talked and clearly lacks conversation skill of listening. George too bad you did not instill your work ethic in the young!
