Almost feel bad only giving a 3 rating because I have been going to Autozone since I owned my first car 30 years ago. And only in the last couple years switched to their competition because I was tired of being disappointed with lack of parts in stock and at times competent service when I would call down to check on parts and be told they were in stock and would be pulled and waiting for me but not even in stock when I got there. I have or have had a Firebird a Camaro and a Jeep Cherokee and now 2 Wranglers so it's not like I had rare vehicles. So I recently purchased a used car and needed a repair manual which the competitor I have been going to and satisfied with no longer carry. Since they just built a new Autozone down the street from them I gave them another chance to win me back. Instead they decided to also no longer carry them in the brand new store and once again was directed to another one that may or may not still carry them. I thought the staff was friendly and as helpful as they could be and the store was organized and wellkept but I will never understand why a DIY auto parts store would decide to stop selling instructions on how to do it yourself. I realize that the internet is a resource and I also watch YouTube videos but some of us still like to take the time to follow step by step instructions that also have details on specific model year. So I was still unhappy about walking away empty handed and they blew an opportunity to recover a once...
Read moreI had gone in to purchase a battery for my vehicle and accepted the offer to have them put it in. The battery totaled to $222; which is ridiculous…When the guy put the battery in, I noticed he was using the wrong socket and I said something to him. He said that he was using the right one, but yet he couldn’t get it to tighten. Finally, he went inside and got a wrench and tried using that; still unsuccessful. He then went back to using the same socket, which wasn’t working and using his fingers to tighten it. My car stalled in the parking lot, so I went back in and asked the manager to check. He came out with the computer checker, which had no detail of any issues. But he did not check my battery, and the reason why I asked him to check the battery which was because of it might not be tightened. My car stalled two more times in the parking lot; he said it could be because it’s a new battery. My car worked for two days; then it would not even turn over. I had a mechanic look at the car, who said that the connections were not tight enough, and the battery was not new. I am extremely disappointed with not only the service, but also feeling like I was dismissed because of being a woman. Women can know what they are talking about. I will be returning the battery and never going...
Read moreFriendly, and knowledgeable staff. Prices are slightly higher than where I normally go, however it's down the road from family so I look at it as paying for the convenience. When I go, they usually have the parts, tools, and accessories I need in stock so i dont have to wait for them to recieve it. One thing I don't like about this location is a lot of people shop here so there's most likely a small line forming at all registers and a brief wait time to check out depending on how many staff are working. The parking lot is slightly crowded so finding parking is not impossible but frustrating at times. However, it's close to my dad, it's convenient, and the staff here make it easier for their customers by maintaining professionalism, listening to customer concerns/questions, as well as offering suggestions/insight/clarification using their existing knowledge of basic or advanced automotive repairs, maintenance, and...
