Cigaret Shopper — Local services in Windham

I went in looking for quality pipe tobaccos and I was shockingly NOT disappointed! The other locations have cheap bulk stuff and codger blends in pouches, but nothing else. THIS location in Windham is worth the drive since they had tinned blends from Cornell & Diehl, Sutliff, MacBaren and others. The prices are quite a bit higher than what you’d pay ordering online, but there are so many weird laws about “flavored tobacco products” that end up getting applied to pipe tobacco that many of these blends would get lumped into that category and thus you wouldn’t be able to order them by mail. Also, most of the tins already have a year or so of aging according to their date stamps, so that definitely makes this a great spot to pick up some new things. I don’t go in for cigars or cigarettes, so I can’t speak to that side of the business, and I will say that the staff were not particularly knowledgeable and their friendliness varied widely from person to person, but I was too enraptured by my choices to really care. Luckily some of my work puts me near Windham every other week or so, and I don’t mind paying a higher price to keep them stocking these items. I just wonder about how large the pipe smoking population is in and around Windham, and why don’t I ever see if those folks out...

Walk in humidor, cold drinks(including beer) and warm beer available, as well as a large selection of instant and machine lottery tickets are sold. Cigarettes by the pack or carton at competitive prices. Brand name and not bad tasting cheapies for when you are digging for change until payday. Cigarette and pipe tobacco by the bag(small pouches, small bags(3oz or so, and large bags available in most brands) and some brands available in a canister. Chewing tobacco and snuff available (including Grizzly and Kodiak brand) by the single tin or roll. Cigarette rollers from old school Top hand rollers , small manual injectors, hand crank ($20-$75-ish range) a d electric rollers ($80-100 range). Cigarette cases, hard and soft, variety of tubes, rolling trays, e-cigs, I think they sell a vaporizer (though the one I purchased left me unsatisfied) and e-juices etc. Staff for the most part is knowledgeable but would recommend doing your own research on the product type you are looking for. UPDATE The last two (2) times I went into the Windham store, they tried to charge me MORE than the sticker price on a bundle of cigars. They said that prices must've gone up and gave me some BS line about inventory. I'm thinking, ok, you paid X price to acquire these sticks and once that price is paid it cannot go up. Who wants to be taken like that? So illegitimate that I haven't been back in since. Greed has no place in my tobacco order. Boycott Cigaret Shopper Windham!!

Cnservative business hours make for a particularly​ difficult time trying to buy cigars. Already tough enough in Maine with such limited availability that a business with an otherwise great selection would be closed...
