Dustin, Gabe, and Mrs. Pat are always super sweet. They Always find what I'm looking for and give us the best prices. EDITED... This is how I felt about them four months ago, not now, however. About 2 months ago I took back 1 pair of earrings that Miss Pat had sold to me while I had my youngest son with me showing him the shop, ( my son had never been in there), but I and I also had my husband on video chat that particular day. Getting the ok to buy a new pair of earrings. Dustin was at his desk eating his lunch. Apparently, this was about 2 weeks before Miss Pat left the store. Well, the clasp wouldn't stay shut and it constantly would fall out of my ear. I just wanted to swap for a similar Moisoinite pair of silver earrings at the same price. ( not sure where Miss Pat went, but I would love to see her again.) Anyway, I was told that I constantly took stuff back. Which is not true! I took back a bracelet a week or so after buying it. Almost 9 months before this day. It had broken in the middle, pin fell out or something. Then also those earrings that day. Yes, we took our personal stuff up there to get resized or fixed. (Dustin couldn't do it without it breaking so we didn't try.), and went there to buy jump rings and jewelry that I had specifically in mind for. I offered to pay Dustin but he wouldn't let me and gave me 3 jump rings to fix one of my necklaces. When my husband and I would shop there we would spend large amounts at a time. I LOVED going there matching up jewelry buying sets and so on. That store excited me and I loved to get to go. This particular day I was joking with them that they ran Miss Pat off. Haha, I thought it was just a joke but I guess I hit a nerve or something. The next thing I knew, Gabe and Dustin were both arguing with me that I didn't buy them there. Sorry, but I know what jewelry I have bought and from where. After Dustin left the room Gabe very sternly let me verbally know I wasn't welcome there to buy another item and that I'd be better off going elsewhere. He wouldn't sell me anything. and my money didn't matter. I got highly upset to the point of crying. Told them I'd never be back. Dustin acted like he didn't know what I was talking about when I texted him later that day. When I left I was so mad I stormed out and nearly got a ticket leaving to race home. After I explained to the cop what had just taken place he let me go on home with a warning to be careful. Mind you I don't buy a whole lot, when I'm with out my husband. ( I am the penny pincher. ) When I'm with my husband and I like something, and we have a little extra, he gets me the little pretties that I like. In a nutshell, I didn't deserve that treatment from that kid! ( GABE ) Also, only 2 items I had bought from that store 9 months apart IS ALL I had ever taken back to exchange or refund. The items myself and my husband took there were ours, we went in with them to see if Dustin could have them fixed or fix them himself. I once took in a bunch of broken jewelry and traded it to Dustin for weight and I think I got a silver necklace or something. I thought that was part of the business. It breaks you take it back... you have your own to get fixed and pay to have it sent off, or trade broken jewelry for weight for a simple item or add to the pricing of another item. Although I'm still mad at what happened I do still miss Dustin and Miss Pat. I never dealt with Gabe a whole lot. Honestly don't care to ever see him again. Need I mention, around Christmas I ordered and bought Dustin and Miss Pat fix-it rings for repairing jewelry like Gabe had. They were not costly, just a few dollars. The point I'm making is that I had genuine love behind the gesture of giving them something. I went out of my way to see that they didn't have one then ordered the rings for Miss Pat and Dustin to be able to have one plus gave Gabe one that was a different color than what he already had. I thought we were all friends 🧡 , guess...
