I wanted to let you know my experience with Burggraf's Ace Hardware in Winona, MN 55987. I ordered my new snow blower, order #53567843, on 12/2/24. I received an email showing delivery for 12/3. During the 3rd, my wife and I saw their truck and trailer go by, but no delivery. Mark, the store manager at Burggraf's, called me that same day 4:37pm. He said his delivery guy ran out of time. He said it was "interesting" when I said that my wife and I saw his truck and trailer go by earlier. He then said he could deliver it himself but would need help unloading, or I could wait a day and they would bring it up on Thursday. I said I can wait. I then waited...and waited... Finally, on 12/16, I sent them an email inquiring into my order. In it I stated that I wanted a brand new, never used, snow blower. Mark called me at 10:32am on 12/17. He said I was "quite the anomaly", and their website said there was one in stock but when they checked, there was zero. It triggered a new one from the Ace warehouse in La Crosse, WI but it never triggered their system that it had arrived in Winona. He said it was brand new, and they would deliver it today, by noon. The delivery person stopped by at 12:25pm. I was cordial. I began my inspection. The first thing I noticed were the many liquid stains, then the cobwebs, and finally the white bird poop.    Read moreVery unorganized and it just feels like every employee is off in their own little world with little to no training. Twice now I have bought small pieces of cut plexi and have been charged a wide variety of price. One person said I pay for the whole piece no matter the size and one person charged me per square inch of size I bough. Stopped in to get a house key cut my daughter and it took the employee 5 tries to figure out the machine and in the end the key wouldn’t work. Purchased an Ego Lawn mower and I’m not sure when Ace Hardware can’t just price match their own website. The mower was $50 cheaper online so I stood inside of the Ace Hardware ordering online from Ace Hardware. Walked in today for another piece of plexi glass and apparently out of the entire staff there is only one single guy (Dwayne) who can cut it (not sure why no other employee can.) They told me they would go find the guy and I waited around for over 20min before another employee asked if I needed help. I told him a different employee went to find Dwayne to cut a piece of plexi for me and he replied with “he’s not even working today”....

There was a very nice man (customer) who had brought his chainsaw in the previous day to be worked on and had come back because it still wasn't working. I have NEVER seen an employee treat a customer so disrespectful. From her throwing tools around in a very crappy way. After 15 minutes the man apologized for how long it was taking. To witch I replied no worries I'm in no hurry. This woman behind the service counter then gave me a very rotten attitude and my only question was is they had break fluid. The older gentleman and myself both talked and will NEVER recommend or enter this business again. Didn't get a name but she had purple/ pink hair...
