North Side Shopping Center — Local services in Winston-Salem

Doesn't cater to handicapped people. There is only 1 place to be able to use restroom at Food Lion and no where else. For that reason I don't go to Northside. If you are at Rose's and need a restroom you have to walk to the other end of the shopping center which is a very long walk for disabled people or children. If they put in more restrooms more people will come including my family and me. For the most part the stores I have visited were ok. But the people in the pawn shop were rude. Food Lion was alright but prices too high also not too clean. will stick to the grocery store I like best which is Harris Teeter at Cloverdale Ave. There are also no restaurants in Northside shopping center other than a Chinese take out which is even further away home the main shopping center. To be able to go have breakfast, lunch, or dinner there then shop would be nice. And the restaurant would draw in more shoppers. Good...

I got my hair done there and I had been going several times, this one time I went I really wasn't satisfied the young lady didn't do her best she was more concern about making more money. I feel like if I have scheduled an appointment weeks prior and that is my scheduled time why should you start waiting on someone else. She put my front lace in and and didn't stay down it keep lifting after the 3rd day the whole hair had lifted I called back and the manager made me feel like I was lying. First of all I live about 40 minutes from the shop why would I want to call her and make up a story like that. She proceeded to tell me that the stylist never had a problem before and so on. If there is one place that has been a staple in my CHILDHOOD, it has been me getting up going to get my nails done at Nails First, shopping at the Beauty World, going into Cititrends for a school fit, getting church shoes and school shoes from Foot Locker/Shoe Show, Grabbing Chinese from one of the most well known Chinese Restaurants, stopping into Family Dollar, Roses, Rent a Center and just getting everything you needed growing up in one place.
