This is my first ever Google review!!! However, I will PREACH to anyone I encounter in my personal life my personal experience with this facility. I am in the healthcare profession!! I am working LONG days to care for POTENTIALLY YOUR loved ones!! I have NEVER been so disappointed! I have two boxers that have been in a local daycare for an extended period (2 years). Both are extremely well-adjusted and mannered dogs. However, I work long and difficult hours…i continue to struggle essentially forced to choose between medical career and my own personal family- MY DOGS!
I listened to a medical colleague with absolutely phenomenal reviews of this facility—— specifically praising the owner!! “Hands down!! She's amazing!! She will work with you!! She is simply phenomenal! You MUST check them out!!!
This is a huge disappointment…..I am going to identify the rationales…. 1- called to check the first day of lunch….”who are you?” “Who are your babies?” “Are they here today dropped off??”…..mic drop….. 2- “oh yes they are doing great. What time are you picking up?” …” before we close right?” 3- at the pick up-IMMEDIATELY upon entering- you must be the new crew…. 4- PRICE!!! I displayed an audible gasp…$900/month, ??
ANYONE want to “daycare boxersx2” on a reasonable salary, please?!?!?? Are you serious??
5- then!!! Where are my remaining gallon-size snacks and food I provided that legibly had their name? Did you call me to pick it up? NO… 5-have you attempted a courtesy follow-up,? 6- what tour?? Do you mean I rescheduled my life to ensure I had adequate time to discuss your center only to be told it would be $900 tomorrow???
DO NOT make the same mistake! As a healthcare worker, I think I may have picked the wrong career if I have a love for my canine companion!
*in response to the owner's response Her response is not an accurate interpretation of the conversation. In fact, there was a third individual on the phone during this conversation who will also disagree with the false statements in her response. She is deflecting blame from the negative first encounter to a customer instead of accepting and acknowledging the multiple missed opportunities and interactions resulting in losing a very loyal customer. That is false advertising in an attempt to make her business portrayed in a better light. Honestly, I am glad I didn't entrust my dog's lives in this facility since these interactions reflect dishonesty!!!
It is my responsibility as a responsible pet owner to share my personal experience to protect an innocent dog that can't advocate for themselves!!!
As I previously stated in my original post, I am in an extremely professional career. I understand the potential ramifications of every single social media post. For this reason, the community can understand the propensity and severity of this encounter to illicit my actions of my FIRST google...
Read moreNice people, and at first the dogs seemed to enjoy going there. But, one dog came home with a minor injury. They said it was our dogs, but they never had an injury at home..."ruffhouse", definitely but never something that needed a trip to the Vet! Then the next visit a staff member was "injured"; was never told us what the injury was. My guess is the dogs were not supervised and were ruffing it up and a staff member kneejerk reached and put a hand between the dogs...NEVER EVER do you do that! We did have a serious (ALL four dogs) episode of Kennel Cough after we picked them up last year; again NEVER at PetSuites??? So, add in some vet visits and it starts to get up to the PetSuites price. They were cheap and close to home...I guess you get what you pay for. We were even over billed 2x...Megan the owner said "I will get back to you" we never heard back". So, off to PetSuites Winter Garden as they never have any issues, way better hours, MUCH nicer facility and 24/7 video...hum wonder why they are ok with full time video??? Used them for several years and never an issue...little further away and higher cost, but First Class Service!
UPDATE - we just picked up the "deadly" Kaia from PetSuites...as always she received her Report Card, and was "Playful and Happy". Dogs were clean, no injuries, no infections...again, worth the added cost!!! Oh, on the "other local dog walker" she mentions...that is her friend Jess from LOL Winter Haven and she never met our dogs. We discussed her watching them and Jess decided she could not handle five large dogs so she passed on working with us. The issues at Paw Printz happened after Jess passed on watching our pack. But hey...nice try!
UPDATE - Added the last PetSuites Oct 2023 visit for Kaia before we started using Paw Printz. SURPRISE..."Playful, Happy, Friendly"...wow does not even sound like the same dog...or could it be the substandard care at Paw Printz is what cause the issue??? Again, zero documentation from Paw Printz and they blame us...but why has it never happened...
Read moreFrom the very first visit, I was impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The facility is not just a doggy daycare; it feels like a vibrant playground for dogs! Upon entering, I was greeted by the friendly staff, who clearly share an incredible love for animals. Their passion showed in how they interacted with each pup—plenty of belly rubs, tail waggings, and playtime in their spacious yards!
The boarding area is clean, safe, and thoughtfully organized. I was able to choose from a variety of accommodations to best suit Maverick and Mercy’s individual needs. Knowing that they had a cozy area to curl up in, along with plenty of playtime with their new furry friends, allowed me to leave without a worry.
During their stay, I loved the daily photos they posted on the Paw Printz facebook, capturing their happy moments while playing with friends. Just seeing their wagging tails in those snapshots made my day every time!
When I picked them up, they were not only happy and exhausted (a sign of a good day!), but the staff also took the time to share stories about their adventures. The genuine care they showed truly made them feel like part of their extended family.
Overall, I can't recommend Paw Printz enough! If you're looking for a safe, stimulating, and love-filled environment for your pups, this is the place to go. They have a winning formula: happy dogs, caring staff, and a facility that feels like a second home. Maverick and Mercy can’t wait for their next...
