Absolutely love ❤️ this place. First time I have ever been to an Aldi store. Prices are fantastic. A week later I am doing this review. I found the quality of their brand of products to be comparable to the National brands at about half or a third of the prices! They do not have a large fresh meat department, I don't remember seeing any National brands of items, and actually most of the departments are smaller by comparison to other grocery or department stores. However, I, personally, intend to shop for everything I can at Aldi from now on and use the regular grocery store to pick up the few items that they don't carry. When my sister, who was driving, told me that I could get all the items in my list, before Thanksgiving, at Aldi for about half the price of my favorite grocery store, I was a bit skeptical. I had the cashier first only ring up the items on my list before adding the few extra things I had seen. I wanted to see if my sister was right. Based on her estimate of what it was going to cost me in the other grocery store. She was right within $4! I was amazed! 😲. I said this is my go to store from now on. If you are disabled and need a riding basket, just note that they only have ONE! You also put 25¢ in the slot on the regular carts to release them to use. When you return your cart to the spot and attach it to the previous cart, you get your quarter back. They do not bag your groceries unless they aren't really busy. Pick up boxes you see empty at the entrance or around. Each bag costs. Paper are 7¢ and heavy plastic, almost reusable, are 10¢. They have cloth too but I didn't get the price. I was able to reuse 1 of my plastic bags. I think the extra stuff you do yourself, not providing bags, and no frills shelves help to keep the costs so low. The store is neat and clean and staff is very pleasant and friendly. It's worth the little extra effort you have to put in for the value you receive. I highly recommend Aldi in...
Read moreAldi used to be the world's best kept secret but.....no more. It is a pleasure to shop there for several reasons and following are just a few: you feel good as you shop because the prices are fair and the quality is very good. Produce is always fresh with an adequate selection as well as meats and seafood. The cashiers are courteous, efficient and very fast. The shopping is kept very interesting as the special purchases change weekly with some great bargains that you cannot find elsewhere. Floors, rest rooms and the entire store is clean and shelves are well stocked. I will happily bag my own groceries in exchange for fair pricing. Lastly I enjoy perusing the ad for next week that are on display as you exit. Knowing what will be the featured items helps me to plan next week's meals. Love you Aldi, keep up the good work! Read moreThis morning I went to buy things I needed for my business, which are generally fruits. At checkout, I was looking for the checkout line that had the least people to get out faster, there was only one person left for my turn, when a cashier of approximately 40 years old, with many tattoos and short hair, told me to go to another checkout line, I asked her why and she didn't say anything to me. When I switched to the other checkout line to my surprise, the same cashier approached the customer who was behind me in the line that I moved to so she could attend to him faster. I feel that this was a xenophobic treatment since it is not the first time that I have seen that this person has a differential treatment against Hispanics. I am a regular customer of this store and I had to make this...
