I love the Hot Topic chain itself, but this location I can say I'll never return to. I came to this location with some friends and only had cash on me, but I wanted to buy a dress that was out of stock in my size in that store. So the cashier helping me suggested that she'd order it for me online and I could just purchase a gift card for her to use so I could have it ordered. I gave her my cash and she scanned a gift card then proceeded to throw it out when she was done using it. I assumed that everything was fine and I'd get my dress in a week. Well I got an email that my order was cancelled due to the dress I purchased being sold out completely, I then am pissed off because then I'm thinking hot topic just stole my money since my cashier never gave my the gift card that she asked me to purchase. So I went back to that hot topic location to get my money back, there was no way in hell I'd settle with a gift card because I never went to the store with the intention of buying one in the first place. I told the cashiers that were there that day about my issue and I showed them the receipts for the dress and gift card that had my cashiers name on them. But then instead of just solving my issue and giving me my money, they take 2 hours to get in contact with their supervisors about the problem to do what they only needed two minutes to...

Read moreZero stars, I came around 7 PM today, on 10/17/23 and walked around for five minutes.
None of the two associates (the one with the green hair, and Caucasian with glasses) greeted me or asked me if I needed help.
They were busy talking about Virginia or whatever.
I normally wouldn't think much of this stuff, as I don't ask for much, and don't mind people having casual conversation at work.
But when someone else walked in (of a different skin color) they were promptly greeted. I believe the two associates also asked if the other individual needed help.
Are people that look like me not welcomed in the Woodbridge Mall Hot Topic.
I am not making any of this up, this can be verified by the store's camera and...
