It's an Aldi. Not too much to say about it beyond that, except maybe that the aisles are laid out a little more spaciously than some of the smaller ones. The staff are friendly, they keep the store clean and adequately stocked, and check out lines move expediently.
For anyone who's not shopped at an Aldi before: almost everything in there is private label, and most of it is higher quality than you expect for the price. What does and doesn't qualify under that is subjective, except the frozen breaded chicken cutlets, the “red bag chicken.” That stuff is universally loved and has a cult following.
Nothing is bad bad, it might just be not to your preference. You can easily do, if not all of your grocery shopping here, the vast majority of it, and walk out a happy camper and cash ahead.
They do charge extra for bags at Aldi, so either bring your own, buy some here (those 10¢ plastic bags hold up well, even after cat attacks), or re-use an empty case of product from the shelf.
Aldi pro-tip: always bring a quarter for the cart, even if you aren't buying a lot. It makes life easier for the cashier, it helps the line move faster, and you can be more leisurely over at the bag packing area. You get it back when you...
Read moreAldi's is a unique supermarket concept - small enough to be easily navigated but carrying quality products - mostly their own brands - that are very reasonably priced. Use the cart to do your shopping, and at checkout all items go back in the cart - no bags are provided. Run the cart out to your car, unload into your own reusable shopping bags, then return the cart to the cart rack just outside the door to get your quarter back! The store brand products are generally very high quality - European dark chocolates, trail mixes, ready to bake pizzas, meats and cheeses, salad mixes, cereals, breads, pastries, fruits & veggies - you can do most of your food shopping ...

Their cheese prices seem to be from the 1990s. I really appreciate being able to buy feta and goat cheeses. I think they are too expensive at other grocery stores. I appreciate that Aldi's doesn't waste you time having to clip coupons or look for deals and that they are so environmental. I also appreciate that they pay their employees well. There is very little I can find fault with. I wish they had a larger variety of spices, better ice cream, and I wish they would bring back the generic diet coke. That's about it for what they...
