I frequented Sencha back when it was called the Tea Garden. This particular location may have actually been called The Steepery however. Either way, all the locations that I have been to are all similar, and offering a variety of different Boba Tea options. For me, I have always ordered shakes or coolers with pearls, jellies, or a combo of both. Each time, I leave with a smile on my face. While MN has a large amount of options for getting boba (bubble) tea (whatever you want to call it), whenever I want some, I always try and find a Sencha tea bar thats around me. Thankfully, theres a few locations such as the Mall of America, Right next to Raising Canes on the U of M Campus, The Macalester College location in St. Paul off of Grand Ave and Snelling, and the uptown location.

I love how many flavors there are the the options for jellies you can put in. Pricing is reasonable and thank goodness because I usually order a couple at a time.

If youre a bubble (boba) tea person, definitely make this place a stop on your list of places to visit, you...

Visiting Sencha Tea Bar in Woodbury was my first tea bar experience. I am somewhat of a tea connoisseur so I was impressed with the extensive selection. I honestly thought I would be drinking bubble tea—which I’ve never able to take a close look at the enormous selection, as in hundreds. I was more than impressed. The staff person was very personable as well as knowledgeable about hot teas. She liked my choice of a raspberry white tea. It was brewed to perfection and was very smooth.

I thought the location was very easy to find. It seemed like there was a steady flow of customers keeping this establishment busy. It’s definitely kid-friendly. I didn’t take advantage of the outdoor seating as it was a chilly fall morning. But I can definitely see myself working remotely from their patio in the summer.

I had a good experience. The customer service was helpful and quite friendly. Who knows I might have to give bubble tea a try eventually. Thank you for the great experience. See you next time! Five star...

First time at Sencha Tea Bar, first time going to a tea bar period. Being a newbie, I let the young lady know I had never been to one and asked her to please explain what the difference was between some drinks, what would pair good with the base flavor of the drinks we were ordering (We had 5 different drink orders) and she was SUPER kind and knowledgeable about the products her company offers. Both employees were extremely kind and helpful and their customer service was above and beyond expectations. I am honestly ashamed of myself not getting their names now that I'm typing this review because I'd like for their boss to know what amazing employees they have. We visited the Sencha Woodbury location on 09/10/2021 at approximately 8:45 pm. Thank you ladies for being so nice and and making our first trip definitely become a routine thing!!! Our drinks...

I love this place! BEST TEA AROUND This is my favorite sencha location! Not only is the tea amazing but the staff is so friendly and kind and always willing to help you find something you like. They are very inclusive to the LGBTQ community and it makes me feel so safe being there ❤️ They also have a bunch of fun merchandise that range from cute plushies and keychains, to pins and stickers! Love it! Especially all the pride stickers and pins, so inclusive! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈 They also usually have a local artist hang their art on the wall for sale, its always fun to look at while waiting. The current artist is pretty cool ❤️

Update: 2/25/2023 The high school and college staff here are absolutely delightful. Bubbly and chatting with patrons about anything and everything, bespeckled with pins and flare, kind and genuinely happy to see each other and clearly drawing a small community to this place. They’re what people wish their kids were like. The tea was also excellent. Again. The fruit syrups are better than any other bubble tea shop I’ve been to here or in Asia. 8/2022: Amazing fruit purées to flavor any Boba or tea you get. Peach raspberry is a winner.

I'm not a huge fan of bubble tea but I don't mind trying it out once a year. Anyways, it's been ages since I've been here. Upon entering there wasn't much traffic going on so getting my bubble tea didn't take long. The customer service was great! The atmosphere was good too as well. The bubble tea tasted very good and delicious. Overall, I do recommend this location and it's worth a try if your a out of town person like me. I will come back one day. Thanks for reading my review. Peace ✌️
