First time here. My experience went like this. I called made appointment asked if tip was included in the price for dip nails was told yes. I chose my color when arrived, Tom brought something else, I realized the color difference right away. Corrected him. Tom sigh, “omg that’s the color.” I say no it’s not ask for the color palette thing and showed him again he came back said they don’t have the color in stock, presented two color options. I told him I didn’t like the sparkling one. So he sighed again. now I was expecting dip Tom made the decision to apply it like Gel, I said I wanted dip but I guess. I asked for two dips/ coat he said, “just one because it make it too thick but he’ll match the color with a gel color and give me two coat so it don’t appear light.” I ask for coffin round he said, “I like square make look more younger,” at this point I’m getting upset but I remain composed. I realize he just did square not coffin I asked for them to be small. The smaller I want them Tom keep sighing making comments such as, “your nails big shape won’t look right,” I tell him keep going. Until I just got tired of his sigh and said it’s okay it’s fine. Really it’s not I’m paying what I want matters but anyways I’m paying the price went from $55 to $65 I ask why they said because of the tip is long I asked what’s a desired tip show me on my nails barely any difference. Also I was charged for coffin which was never communicated to me, “ They said well all our customers knows coffin is extra I remind them I’m new as I had previously communicated before I even sat down so that’s not an information I wouldn’t know. I paid and left! I just want Tom to know I’m paying you to do a service if you don’t have the patience don’t accept the client. Also your opinion is irrelevant unless I ask. You did a decent job once you actually started to listen to me.

If it weren't for a gift card to this place, I wouldn't even go back. Their quality of work is HORRIBLE. Just look at my pictures attached. This wasn't my first time, and always give them the benefit of the doubt, but not anymore. And, talk about RUDE and neglectful. I noticed after Tina had prepped my nails and applied the base that she didn't cut nor file my nails to even out the lengths - I had one fingernail short because it had broken. I asked her cut and even it out prior to applying the base and nail polish. She didn't seem to know how to even it out, and after a couple of times of going back and forth to get the nails as close to each other as possible, she handed me the filer to do it myself. I was paying for the service - if I needed to do it myself, I would have. Eventually, I said forget it since she was so rude. When she was done, she left nail polish on my skin without any attempt to clean it up. She also did not paint my nails completely, and when I asked her to cover up the rest of the missed part of the nail, she began talking in Vietnamese to the other tech working next to her....obviously she was talking about me because the other tech looked up at me. JUST PLAIN RUDE. Can't support businesses like this. There's definitely better salons out there.

I’ve been going to Ultra Nails for 3+ years and always had Van do the best job! I even drive 40 minutes one way just to go to her. Now that she is not there, I had Kelly do a pedi today with a full set. The design I requested got an A+, but I am kind of underwhelmed.. residue is stuck to my fingers, one index finger nail is crooked, the tips are not painted, there are blemishes in the pedi. The acrylic also seems kind of wide and chunky, but I think that’s because I went too short. I was also charged $10 extra for I’m assuming special design, which Van has never charged me for. Maybe I’m just too used to Van’s work, but being underwhelmed for $109 is disappointing. UPDATE 6/17/21: Two nail tips have now broken/fallen off in less than two weeks of getting a brand new full set

I went here for the first time yesterday after reading all of the wonderful reviews, however I had a horrible experience. My mother and I walked in together and we were not even greeted. The person sitting at the reception desk (a younger male) was so into his phone he didn't even notice that we were there. Someone in the back informed him there were customers and he then looked up. I informed him it was our first time here so we weren't sure which package we would like, but I wanted a pedicure and my mother would like a manicure. He said ok and went to speak to one of the nail techs in back. Then he came back up and said 'I can get you in tomorrow." Mind you there was no one else waiting at this time, it was 5:45 pm and they are open until 8pm. There were customers already being worked on, but they had clearly been there a while and were likely almost done. I said "you're going to be busy until 8pm? It's 5:45 right now." He kind of laughed and said "yeah you can come back tomorrow." I politely said we will not be coming back here tomorrow and left. I am not mad at the receptionist aside from his not noticing we were there as I'm sure he was just the messenger and could do nothing about it, but this was absolutely terrible customer service and I will never step foot in this establishment again. I am happy to say we found another nail shop in Woodbury not too far away where we happily spent over $100. Just a little tip from one business owner to another CUSTOMER SERVICE IS...

Prior to my arrival, I called and asked if walks in were available; they confirmed that they were. I walked in without being greeted, one of the employees was sitting in the recliner chairs staring at me. After waiting for approximately 10 minutes, I asked if there was anything available for walk-ins, and she replied yes, then asked what the design and color should be. Once I presented her with the inspiration, she pointed to the back of the chair and pointed the color that I wanted, and she instructed me to follow her. I followed her and went to the chair to sit while she worked on my nails. She did not say anything or ask any questions; she was completely silent throughout the entire conversation. When I stated that I preferred short nails, she cut the nails and showed me them only once and said, "Good?". I replied, "Good.". Afterward, her coworker came by and started showing her stuff on her phone and started speaking with her in Vietnamese and was laughing very loud. I found this to be very disrespectful and unprofessional. In the subsequent period, she failed to ask if I desired to examine it to see if it was as I had envisioned. Upon completion, she said okay done and walked away to the register area without further comment. I looked like a complete dumb person, and when I gotten the chance to look at my nails, 3 of the nails were shorter than the others even the designs were a bit off and she even charged me for long nails when I asked for short nails. Never...
