Borofka's Furniture — Local services in Woodbury

After searching many different places for furniture and realizing the poor quaility of others out there we decided to go with Borofkas! Great Quality and beautiful furniture however get ready for all the excuses...After spending thousands $$$ on the bedroom furniture it was delivered with a chunk taken out of the back of the dresser and the headboard was all scratched up. They are in places that are in the back and maybe they thought I wouldn't notice....It should have never been delivered like that! I was told by the delivery drivers there is a new guy in the warehouse and he is not doing a good job inspecting the furniture when it arrives and they also told me the furniture is stacked sky high in the semis truck that bounces and travels the I-94 highway....I DON'T CARE about why and the excuses, I just wanted nice furniture without any damage! I had to send the headboard back and I am not sure if it is getting refinished or remade... and also had to have someone comeout to patch the dresser today between 9-11am and just asked for 30 minute heads up arrival phone call....which didn't happen! Communication is poor and not to mention the sales staff seems friendly but they take their money and run! NO more contact after they get their money. I have been in customer service all my careeer and I at least would have expected a follow up from the sales person toThank me for the sale again and to see if everything is ok and arrived as expected and how I liked it upon the delivery...But Never heard a word from them. I am very disapointed and stil am waiting for the headboard. I know you may think I am whining but I feel the damage and non-communication is unaccetable and now it is an inconvience waiting for it all to be fixed! I guess it doesn't matter how much you spend on things these days, people just don't care and the personal customer service is GONE! :( I will shop here again but my expectations will be lowered so then I might not have as much disappointment. I have nothing but good things to say about Bohrofaka's. First was shopping during Covid-19: they made us feel safe, were professional in their cleaning, observing safety procedures, etc. Second was their product: our dining room table (complete with three leaves) is absolutely gorgeous and I can tell it will be the gathering place for holiday meals for the rest of our lives. Third was their transparency and honesty: the sales person took her time with us, always concentrating on what we wanted in our design answering our questions and not pushing us. In addition, when our table arrived, the delivery person took time to point out that there was a flaw which caused a gap when all leaves were in. He then told me how to request a repair (which was quite easy, just filling out a line on the receipt) and told me I would hear back to arrange repair/fixing the issue. Sure enough, they called arranged pick-up, repaired the table by adding clasps, and dropped it of less than a week after pickup.

I'll be honest, Bohrofaka's is too expensive to get all our furniture from. But if you want a wonderful, high quality piece from a company that listens to you and will fix any mistakes to make sure you get exactly what you want, they...

A few years ago I bought a king size bed and night stand from PM Bedroom Gallery- Courtney at the Woodbury location. I recently bought a home and vowed to return to purchase a matching dresser for my room. The name may have changed to Borofka's but the quality has not changed one bit. Courtney even still worked there. The furniture here is not cheap. Not cheap in cost nor quality. All of the pieces are made to order...just for you. This means delivery does take several weeks. This means you will smell the wood and stain a bit when it is delivered. It is truly high quality furniture that will last a lifetime- and then some. After buying "disposable" furniture all my life that is good for about 5 years- or 2 moves, whichever comes first, I decided it was time to spend the extra to get furniture that will last. I have no regrets. from the helpful sales staff to the delivery staff. Everyone was very friendly and gives amazing customer service. I recommend them without hesitation and will be buying more furniture there as my cheap...
