VERY SAD AND HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT COSTCO !!!❌❌❌❌⛔️⛔️⛔️ GENERAL MANAGER CARLOS AND EMPLOYEES should step down and GO BACK TO TRAINING, THE SUPERIOR ENCHARGE STAFF NEED TO KNOW how this people is running their Bussiness. I HAVE TO WARN EVERYONE ⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️ I was at the store yesterday for the first time and it was literally the worst experience in my life in a store. So we have bible study on Thursday Nov 16th and one of the lady’s in the group is having a baby shower today Saturday NOV 18th and we learned that she may use some help for it, and I offer to help to buy groceries for the food she is cooking and so my oldest sister suggest that I should go to Costco and since I dont have a membership but she did and so she handed to me. So yesterday FRiDAY NOV 17th after work I stopped at the store with my youngest sister and we were so excited to be able to help our dear friend after about 3 and a half hours of shopping, which I ended up buying different jackets and shoes etc for my 3 kids and my self for winter and as we walking out to pay a lady stopped us with a VERY UNHAPPY ATTITUDE AND DISGUST IN HER FACE and ask us at the door for the membership and showed it to her, me and my sister are talking then she starts screaming for supervisor it got our attention then this SECOND LADY COMES WITH A VERY FAISTY ATTITUDE NOT SMILE BUT ANGRY LOOKING FACE and while Lady at the door explains that that membership is not on my name and so I reply no is my sisters membership this is the first time coming here then she explains that I cannot share the membership and told her I didn’t know about it obviously my sister didn’t know either, and ask me to buy a membership on my name and then I asked how much it was she said $60dls and I said ok so as I try to start walking with the cart to costumer service and make a decision to buy it or not since they already have treated me with a very terrible attitude and anger now I’m doubting if I want to bring my Bussiness/ money to a store like this, She GRABBED THE CART ON THE SIDE AND STOPPED IT AND PUSHED ME WITH HER WHOLE BODY, I let go the cart and ask to speak with her manager and that should’ve never done that, it was unnecessary, she goes and talked to the lady checking membership and confirms that she didn’t pushed me denying it, both of them agreed, the shift manager EVAN comes and I explains what happens and told him how the employees had treated me and pushed and ask him to please check the camera, she agrees and does it, and so while He is gone I tried to asked to another employee the name of the General Manager but the lady that is checking the memberships again starts screaming and tell him TO NOT HELP ME!! That the manager EVAN was helping me and not to respond the other guy stay quiet and then LOOKED at me with an attitude as Well, I turn on my camera in my phone and let her know that I was recording all and the way I was being treated and then she said That’s fine. At this point I am very upset THE GENERAL MANAGER CARLOS came Not even say hello or no smile BUT ANGER and HE ALREADY starts YELLING AT ME and asked WHAT WAS THE BIG DEAL?? I told him I had my camera on and was recording and He WAS SO ANGRY I started telling him about the ASSAULT with HIS EMPLOYEE and HE REPLIES “ We already told You THERES NO EVIDENCE and you have no permission to record me I stopped the recording then He said GET OUT OF THE STORE IM CALLING THE COPS FOR TRESPASSING SINCE YOU DONT EVEN HAVE A MEMBERSHIP THIS IS A PRIVATE PROPERTY and they did. A costumer approached me and told me that an employee had Hit her with a cart at the entrance because she had a service dog, they apologize and gave her a gift card and advise me to seek legal advise and she will testify what happened to her. I owned different Bussiness in woodstock including a restaurant in the past so I clearly know costumer service, in Woodstock we are not like that we are people with good values and morals. Read moreI have been shopping at Costco for several years. However, due to today’s events that is sadly about to come to an end. My experience today has changed my outlook on the store as I was harassed by multiple employees and put in a very uncomfortable situation throughout my recent shopping experience. I entered the store and was told that a face covering is required. As I was being told this information I gazed around the area and seen another individual walk in the establishment without any face covering and was not approached by any employee of Costco. Furthermore, I witnessed multiple other shoppers wearing the face coverings below their chin with their mouth and nose fully exposed. Again, none of these individuals were approached by any of the staff like I was. I continued throughout the store to do my shopping and passed several Costco employees who never said a word to me or any other customer who was either not wearing a mask or wearing them Incorrectly. Later in my shopping experience I was approached by another Costco employee who demanded I wear a face covering properly. Again as I was being harassed I pointed out several individuals who were also shopping not wearing there mask correctly or even wearing a mask at all. At this time I was threatened to be escorted out by police and the employee stormed away. I continued on with my shopping and went to the checkout. At this time, I was harassed once more by being told masks are mandatory. The gentleman in front of me checking out was told a mask is required, and he requested a face shield instead of a mask. The Costco employee stated “Well your already checking out and leaving its fine”. The gentleman in front of me walked out of the store with no further incident. My stress level was so high from my experience that I exited the store. According to the CDC website wearing a mask is actually more harmful than not wearing one in most occasions. My emotional well-being and stress level are at an all time High due to all the harassment as I never encountered this issue in previous Costco experiences. Upon my entry at the store. Upon further investigation I witnessed signage outside the Costco store regarding face masks. The signage is poorly written, in less than ideal locations and does not include many of the required elements of a posted sign such as Braille. Read moreMy family just got treated like criminals at your establishment. We checked out with your staff spending close to $700 which is typical for us since we have been executive members since 2018. This was our first experience at Woodstock Costco. We are in line to leave the store and the lady who looks over receipts is glancing at everyone's shopping cart signing off... until it was our turn. Keep in mind we have a lot of stuff. She goes through each item individually and found 1 out of 4 egg cartons was not ringed up properly. The approach was pretty unprofessional. Its not my fault that your team missed an item. It's literally 1% of what I purchased. There is a massive line behind me and people watching as My family including our newborn son is being held because of a carton of eggs. Anyways she forced me to leave my family and says I have to go to the tire center to pay for the eggs. I'm definitely not happy at this point. The guy at the tire center could tell as I'm standing in line. He was the only person in this scenario who showed any empathy. Turns out the lady sent me to the wrong location. I was suppose to go to the other side of the aisle where a lady was standing by some tires. Now this small petite blond woman seemed to continue the vibe of the lady at the door and treated me like I was trash. She said "I was standing here the whole time" and continued to give me "stink eye" the entire time. Finally were done here she begrudgingly gives me my receipt and I go on my way back to Lady #1 who of course once again checks my receipt to make sure I didn't steal the eggs. My $700 purchase made me back 2% and my credit card I used made me an additional 1.5%. I made $24.50 on this transaction with Costco. Why would I steal a $7 egg carton....?
