I am a frequent customer at this location because of its proximity to where I work. Most of the employees are kind and helpful and sale items are clearly marked. My issue is with one particular âKarenâ !! She has made comments on some of my purchases, like sir, that shirt is a âcustom fitâ, or sir, that shirt is not on sale, or sir, I can ring you up on my register and doesnât ask which employee was helping me, takes the sale as a credit to herself. I told her Johnny helped me. She then asks do I have any coupons, of which I replied no, mine expired during Christmas / End of the year-sales. She asks for my phone to verify and then tells me if I havenât made a purchase in the last 6 months, the Polo app will tend to stop sending them. She then asked , if I was paying in cash and when she read the total, she said oh, you probably want to put it on a credit card. I was appalled on how she treated me, like I was below her. I can fully purchase anything in this store, credit or cash but her energy and demeanor towards me is uncalled for. Her lack of respect towards people of all colors, races and/ or status is sad. This has now happened twice from the same manager, most of us that shop here , can buy whatever we want but her customer service is awful. I honestly donât understand how she became a manager in the first place. Itâs not up to you, what us customers choose to buy or how to buy it. This place is terrible. As a customer on Saturday October 12, 2024, I was disgusted. This store is more concerned with shoplifting than having a pleasant experience.
From the time you enter you see nothing but employees POSTED on the floor asking you if you need help. You cannot even look around without being crowded. If you're that afraid of shoplifters close your doors. If you're afraid simply, put your items behind glass. A local store near you let's call them NORTH FACE are totally opposite in how you run your store. I entered the store and was given my space. Because I was given that space I as a customer was able to shop. N.F. actually HAS sales. You don't need a stupid coupon. I purchased a $45.00 hat for $10.00. A pair of $100.00 pants for $30.00. Now that is an outlet store.
The Prices are ridiculous in Polo. the Prices are no different than Macy's and Dillards. As a matter of fact you will find better sales in these two retailers locations. That so called coupon Polo emails you and the text is a waste. My gosh, I am shocked at the way this store is run. Can you say Price Gouging. They need to be investigated by the Consumer Affairs division for false advertising.

The manager refused to sale three T-shirts for me and some items for my friends visiting from Brazil when she heard us speaking Portuguese at the checkout. She said we would not take anything from her store to Brasil. Humiliated us in front of the employees, customers and made me feel so nervous I couldnât stop crying. I had to call the police and make a report after her screening at us and not giving a reason when I asked. The first time this happened to me after 24 years in this country, and is a shame that Ralph Lauren has this kind of employee as a manager. And sad that racism is happening now and unpunished. If you speak a different language, make sure you donât go in there if you intend to speak with others.
