Community Care Alliance — Local services in Woonsocket

I really don't have anything good to say about this place. It started with a phone call to be transferred to a voice-mail explaining there are walk in hours from 8:30-10:30 am Monday through Friday. So the next morning I am sure to show up at 8:30am just to be told they don't have walk in available. I have to make an appointment which is only available 3 days out. I'm told the only available time was Monday at 1pm. I arrive early to be sure there is plenty of time for any intake. Finished everything and I have been waiting. It is now 1:15 so I get up to ask how much longer will it be to be told my appointment is at 1:30. I explained the appointment was made for 1pm. The receptionist then tells me they say the appointment at a half hour earlier to complete paperwork. That would be great to be told ahead of time. I would of not come so early to sit here and waste time. I would not recommend this...

This organization has some helpful resources, however the majority of social workers and clinicians aren't capable of providing the long term care needed by the clients they specialize in. I've had my own personal experience in which confidential info was reported too my probation officer in an attempt to get me to comply with a program they felt was a necessity for me. A second and third opinion was sought and completely contradicted there diagnosis. Looking at these reviews I’m seriously not surprised with what I’m reading because it seems I’ve been having the same experiences !! Every time I turn to them for help i literally get no where. I’ve turned to this place at least 3 times for some sort of help and received help zero times smh and idk who is at the reception desk but when someone is already not satisfied and ask for a supervisor it is not the time to hang up on them… yall need to get ppl in there that really want to help the ppl out here in Woonsocket!
