Meg was absolutely fabulous - low stress and high quality! (Please read the whole review because it matters!!) The package we chose for our wedding day included an engagement photo session, which gave us a great opportunity to meet Meg and get to know her before the big day! We were so comfortable with her and she was always so pleasant. Meg went above and beyond to get us all the great shots we didn't know we wanted - she's climbed onto roofs, laid down on concrete for the best angle. She'll push your feet's limit for photos (and you'll realize your shoes weren't that comfortable at all) but when she gives you hundreds of beautifully angled, lighted, and both posed and candid photos, there is nothing about uncomfortable shoes that you'll remember (except that you wished you could have been more gracious about it). Meg took amazing photos inside a 100+ year old church that can be a bear to photograph due to its construction prior to the invention of the lightbulb (almost literally), but the photos came out great and highlighted all the beautiful architecture and paintings in the church and made us look like we had a royal wedding. Meg had a second photographer (Dustin) who was a star as well - we were able then to have one photographer with the guys getting ready and Meg with us (bridal party) to get all the desired shots - especially that the bridal party got ready at the church and the guys at the hotel. The photographers were obviously extremely invested in getting great shots - not just talking the talk, and they would even wait for the sun to disappear behind clouds to relieve the darkening shadows or have us turn 6 inches to get a more flattering angle. We loved working with them because they seemed to love to work with us! Meg and Dustin were flexible and stayed an additional half hour, plus one song because they said it was "too good to not take pictures of" and they were prompt at the start of our time. They had no problems splitting up or following us to multiple locations for photos. They came to Akron from Wooster and made us feel like we were a priority. These are photos we will love to look at and show off for the rest of our lives. We look forward to future celebrations and life milestones to be able to work with Meg and Dustin again! I met Meg during ladies night out in downtown Wooster and was bummed because our daughter wanted nothing to do with senior photos but when she decided she wanted a couple Meg did not disappoint! My daughter met her and instantly started a vision board (if you knew her you’d know this was far from her thing) and went running with it. Meg was AMAZING! She put a smile on our daughter’s face that we’ve NEVER seen in a photo! The shenanigans my daughter’s ideas put this poor photographer through for that smile was everything from grandpa in a can (yes her real grandpas ashes) to laying in a ditch in a field to get that photo she wanted the most. Never once did she tell her “no I’m not doing that” but added to it. The few photos she did let us see still leaves a smile on our daughter’s face almost 24 hours later! I could not recommend her enough! I’ll never regret having Meg as the photographer for her senior photos! I’m adding a raw photo I took myself but the point of it is that we didn’t get her to look amazing…Meg put that confidence in her like an amazing photographer should! Our family has been going to Meg for years, and we love her! She is incredibly patient with children, creative in her thought process, and very customer-friendly. She truly loves her clients, and this shows in her work and service. She goes above and beyond for her families, and it's very appreciative. We've never had a bad experience, and have always been very pleased with the product. We get our pics taken fairly often, but somehow she always makes the experience and product fresh and exciting - I never feel like we're doing the "same old thing". No two of our sessions are identical, therefore we always have a different look and finished product, which is why we love going back! She is very quick with turnaround time, and never disappoints. The whole experience from A - Z has always been pleasant for me, and my kids very much look forward to Miss Meg taking their pics.
