Adorable little Hungarian bakery and shop for coffees, pastries, cakes, etc. I was recommended this spot by several locals for a sweet treat and coffee. I will admit I did come about 30 minutes before close, so the staff did seem rushed and a little bothered, however, they did offer several recommendations for pastries and coffees. I had an apricot Hungarian tea biscuit (sans tea) it was fruity, nutty, and just a hint of sweetness. Exactly what I was looking for as I don’t like overly sweet. I ordered a cold brew with lavender and coconut syrup with oat milk, which was also very good. They have such a large collection of syrups for the coffees I was very impressed! They are known for coffee flights as well but I didn’t order a flight since it was so close to closing but locals mentioned their flights are very unique and delicious. Ambiance was 10/10, very cute and quaint European style space with great lighting and excellent for working or studying. Highly recommend! I will certainly be back so that I can spend more time in the...
Read moreI would give this establishment a 3.5 to 4 stars out of 5. They deserve 5 out of 5 for their baked goods and from what I hear from others a 5 out of 5 for their hot coffee. I have had their baked goods in the past and found them very enjoyable.
Today my wife and I asked for frozen blended coffees, caramel flavored in particular. My wife wanted hers with regular milk and I wanted mine with almond milk. The service was very friendly. But after giving us our drinks the lady who made them apologized if they were a little inconsistent because they don't do frozen blended often. We didn't taste them until we got out to the car. Both drinks lacked any sweetness or any of the requested flavoring and we weren't able to drink them. We understand their desire to serve all customers with coffee needs. But if it isn't something you do often enough to be good at, then don't serve it. They are good at pastries...
Read moreThis is a coffee and pastry shop, so do not expect food options. The coffee was "ok". Nothing special. There was one available food item, avocado toast. It was on bagged wheat bread, not much avocado. Literally no food options like even a boiled egg. My husband can eat carbs so he ordered a nut roll, a poppyseed roll and a raspberry torte. It took two returns to the counter to be able to get his ordered pastries and the person waiting on him seemed bothered to do so. I had to return to the counter to get the milk I had ordered. On a positive note, the place is super clean, sort of cute and there is a resident cat next door named Saran Wrap that you can watch from the window. Parking is 90 minutes max, so don't expect to lollygag. Drink your coffee and go. It was a quiet stop with a very nice cat, but we will...
