Hero House — Restaurant in Wooster

Terrible customer service. I've lived in this community for 4 decades and used to enjoy this place. Tonight I was berated and yelled at because they did not want to make a salad with the Philly cheese steak toppings on top. I've ordered this many times before with no problem. I thought it was all good when I was ordering only to come home and find all I got was a skinny piece of meat and cheese and 2 slices of lettuce. Not a salad. Called in to ask why and was yelled at and verbatim was told "I ain't doing that, we don't do that, next time pick it out of the bun". Mind you, they do serve salads here as well. We used to recommend this place to our customers who come in and even displayed their menu and location and our recommendation in our guest book. We have since updated our guest book, left their info in it, but have now warned our guests not to frequent this business due to the belligerent behavior and treatment of their customers. It's very sad. We cannot believe they treat customers like this and stay in business. This isn't how Wooster hometown businesses treat...

After a very bad experience Wednesday night (12/21/16), I called to talk to a manager. After a very polite conversation in which I felt like a valued customer, the manager was nice enough to make it right and offer a meal on Hero House. I was very happy by this resolution and agreed, thanking her. When I got there, the woman at the pull up window got my food and told me "do not come back". Taken aback I left the window (I did not take the food). I went into the restaurant where the owner Mike told me to leave or he would call the police! I am not kidding. My wife then called to get an explanation of this behavior. He hung up on her. She called back and he told her "do not F'n (he used the f word) call back or I will call the police for harassment." And then hung up again.

I have been going to Hero House for over a decade. I hope anyone reading this will reconsider giving their business and money to such a disrespectful...

When me and my coworker got there, we were yelped at to get out as they only allow 3 people in at a time. When we finally got in I tried to order something off the menu they have posted on google(kosher pastrami) and was very rudely told by the man they dont have anything like that and that people are trying to make money off them by posting the menu(n you just dont know how to run a modern business as you have complete access to change the menu on google, or make your own website. Not everyone wants to shift thru your facebook page for a menu). After I picked a new sandwich very quickly while this guy started me down we were told it's going to be 25 minutes and we had to come back, after already paying! Absolutely ridiculous. Food was alright, but nothing to write home about. Wont be a repeat customer as I was treated terribly by people who don't know how to...
