Avenue Flower Shop & Wine Bar — Local services in Worth Township

Jason and I had our wedding on September 6, 2019. We worked with Sharon and she is the absolute sweetest person; so personable, so willing to help and get you exactly what you want and need! She made our wedding so beautiful! Her and her team set up everything for our wedding day--- from the centerpieces, to our card and gift table! They moved our outdoor flowers into the reception area and set them up beautifully! Sharon even called me the day before and asked when our reception would be over so she could come back---at MIDNIGHT---and pack everything up for us so we didn't have to do it! I told her it wasn't necessary, but she insisted! She is simply the best! The flowers were beautiful and she loves her job and you can totally tell by the way she gives her all!! Unless you are buying flowers out of the cooler or don't have a job and can go there in the morning, DON'T BOTHER! I have used them in the past numerous times and been very happy. Since the wine bar came in, they have let the florist portion go in the toilet. No one actually works on the floral side after 3p, you have to go to the wine bar and practically drag someone next door. That is, unless the bar is busy, then you'll be waiting a long time. The best the bar tender can do for you, is take your name & number and have someone call you. UNACCEPTABLE! I was really hoping to get my wedding flower here. They have lost...

Paid $84 for what was suppose to be a holiday bouquet.

I asked if they could do holiday ornaments like bells, and pinecones and I was confidently told “yes”.

What showed up at my aunt’s house wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t worth $80 or what I asked for. There were no ornaments or holiday theme to it.

Not to mention the flowers were so random. You could pick something from Jewel for a third of the price that’s much better. Disappointed. :/
