Boba Heaven — Restaurant in Worth Township

SMH. Ordered ahead, arrived 15 mins later, and they charged us for the drinks. After paying was told they have to go buy ice to make the drinks. WTH?! Not to mention the extra wait forced on us (they said it’d be ready in 10 mins), on top of holding our money hostage and not giving us an option if we wanted to wait. Super shady!

After paying $14 for two “large” freeze teas and being forced to wait an additional 20 minutes (35 mins total)… we were sent on our way with the tiniest cups, practically room temperature / no detectable ice in the drinks, just a disgusting cup of sugary milk soup with a few measly tapioca.. couldn’t even taste any fruit. Yuck!!

Even if the drinks were any good, they could never be good enough to make up for the shady practices. Let alone selling small cups of sugar soup for an outrageous price and passing them off as large bubble teas (we just moved here from the Chinatown neighborhood—we’ve had our fair share of authentic bubble teas). It was our first time here and we were excited to patronize this new establishment in the community, but this is no way to do...

I saw the good reviews on this boba place and really wanted to try it. I placed an order through Uber eats today for a special delivery for my sister. Turns out Uber eats never delivered it. As I contacted the driver, she seemed to be short and not willing to help out. Long story short, the driver delivered it to the wrong address. I then contacted Uber eats to request a refund and I proceeded to re order. Soon after that I received a call from Boba Heaven from the manager to follow up on the issue with the order. Nasr was very professional, very concerned and wanted to make it right. He offered to deliver the same order at no additional cost. This brought a smile and teary eyes because I have not seen great customer service like this in a long time. Good hearted people still exist! There are still good humans out there working hard for their/a business, managing it correctly. The boba drink and crepe were delicious! Can’t wait to try other things on the menu. I ordered a brown sugar milk tea with tapioca pearls and it was AMAZING. The service was quick and the location was clean and welcoming.

I am docking stars because of the unclear pricing. I checked the menu on the Google Reviews before going to this location to see what size drinks they offered. The menu indicated they offered two sizes, medium and large. When I went in the store, they had the sizes on display and I saw they offered a third, smaller size. This was the size I ordered. The price of the smallest size was not listed but a customer can assume that a small (16 oz) would be cheaper than a medium (24 oz).

After payment, I realized that the smallest size was the SAME PRICE as the medium size. I wish I noticed this sooner, but I’m hoping this review helps someone else recognize this discrepancy before purchasing. Why get the smallest size when you can a bigger size for the same price?

If I return, I will be sure to watch the prices...
