From the moment I arrived at the dealership, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately set a positive tone for my vehicle purchasing experience. The staff was welcoming, but it was Tom and Joe who truly made the difference throughout the entire process.
Joe approached me with a genuine smile and a helpful demeanor. He took the time to understand my needs and preferences, ensuring that I felt comfortable and confident in my choices. His extensive knowledge of the vehicles on the lot was apparent as he guided me through the options that best suited my lifestyle and budget. Tom was not only patient but also incredibly attentive, answering all of my questions with clarity and expertise.
Tom joined us shortly after and brought an equally high level of enthusiasm and professionalism to the table. Together, Tom and Joe worked seamlessly as a team, making the process feel not just efficient but also enjoyable. They collaborated effectively, sharing insights that helped me compare different models and features quickly without feeling rushed. Their commitment to customer satisfaction was clear; they genuinely wanted to find the right fit for me rather than simply making a sale.
What impressed me most was how smooth and fast the entire purchasing process was. Once I had made my decision, Tom and Joe patiently walked me through the necessary paperwork, explaining each step and ensuring I was fully informed. There were no hidden surprises or overwhelming jargon, which made the task at hand much less daunting. Everything was organized and streamlined, allowing me to focus on my excitement about the new vehicle rather than getting bogged down by administrative details.
In addition to their professionalism, both Tom and Joe maintained a friendly and approachable demeanor, which created a relaxed atmosphere. They encouraged open dialogue, making me feel valued as a customer and ensuring I felt comfortable voicing any concerns without hesitation. It was clear that they truly cared about their clients and were passionate about providing excellent service.
Once the paperwork was completed, I had the pleasure of experiencing the final touches. Tom and Joe went above and beyond to ensure that the vehicle was immaculate. They took the time to prepare it for delivery, highlighting its features and checking that everything was in perfect order. Their attention to detail did not go unnoticed, and I left the dealership feeling reassured and excited about my new purchase.
Overall, my experience at the dealership exceeded my expectations thanks to Tom and Joe's exceptional service. Their professionalism, warmth, and efficiency turned what can often be a stressful process into something truly enjoyable. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle, particularly if Tom and Joe are part of the team. They made my car-buying journey memorable and rewarding, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice.
Thank you, Tom and Joe, for making this experience...
Read moreUpdate: 1July 2025 3 visits to Sherman Jeep/ Dodge of Skokie who clearly knows how to conduct business. A definitely frustrating time but they have been patient at least! NEW CAR! Now in a scenario where I’m dealing with Jeep corporate on the matter! Even after Berman Dodge reply on here not even a call on the matter. Be careful who you do business with.
Update:May 23rd traded a vehicle in to Berman dodge of oak lawn. 30 min after driving and getting medication at a Walgreens drive through heard a ticking noise. For the next two days i kept trying to hear that noise. Finally i realized it would come and go when idling. Reached out to my sales representative Mr.perez with no reply. Drove to Berman dodge and met with Ramon and Saul whom both looked at the vehicle and related they thought it sounded like a tensioner and belt issue. They couldn’t offer me a loaner vehicle to leave my car even though i live an hour away. So they checked with Sherman dodge on the other side of the city in Skokie! Bad enough i already am an hour away just from home, but i took the drive and went to see Sherman. Should have just dealt with them on everything given i frequented them prior to this purchase. Sherman dodge issued me a loaner that day and kept the vehicle for repair.Picked up next day and after some driving and idling heard it again. Reached out to my sales representative Mr Perez with negative results on communication. After leaving him a message with another rep i got a call from him after the weekend. This was even after messaging him and sending videos of the issue with no replies to both his business number and personal numbers he gave me. That call did consist of an apology and said he was out of town. Understandable so i was like whatever man just get me some help with this car issue. He related he was going to have someone call me by the name of Erick can’t recall if he was a maintenance or service representative. Never got that call that day. Never got a call from him or anyone else not even my representative even till today. They were really quick to call me about my customer survey though. Ridiculous, and Unprofessional. GO ELSEWHERE!
I had no plans on getting rid of my 2019 Ram 1500. Love that truck. But a trip in on an inquiry turned into an amazing buy of my truck and left with something pretty sweet! Vehicle is the icing but the staff, particularly OV Perez was awesome 👏🏼 Told him exactly where i wanted to be and after some working we got to that place!
No pressure very welcoming. Thanks Berman Team for the great purchase. Truly had a stress free purchase. See you in...

The car I was interested in was listed for $32,900 on 2/28. I immediately scheduled a test drive for the next day and included all my trade-in details (valued @ $13,470 on their website). Kept a screenshot of the appraisal for my records. Upon arrival, the first question their sales rep (Dennis Sr) asked me was my social security number. He pushed me to sign a credit application and told me he wouldn't sell the car to me until I signed. I came in the door with plenty of financing from a credit union. This was just the beginning. Then came the pricing discrepancies. Their sales rep offered me a measly $10,000 for my trade-in which is in pristine condition with zero justification to his price other than "that's just what I can do" (remember the $13,470 quote?). Additionally, when we started discussing the price of the car, the dealership decided to jack the price up $4,095 (now listed for $36,995) online while I was on my way there. Stood by their price and tried to upsell me a $40k+ car instead. Bait & switch at it's finest. I drove over an hour and a half in traffic from Chicago and was assured by every single one of their staff that this would be a seamless experience. I confirmed on the phone and via text that they would hold their trade-in value and we had room to negotiate the price of the vehicle I wanted. Great. Then, Dennis non-stop left me in the room for sometimes 15-20 minutes (mind you, no cell service in this place) just to come back and tell me some bologna story about his "manager". Additionally, when the manager came in to discuss potential concerns on my end, I was greeted with a rude, lying, uninformed, wrinkled-shirted gentlemen. To round it all off, my "goodbye" from their sales rep Dennis was "have a good day, your car is on 95th"...with my car parked on a 3-lane busy street, not in any of their parking spaces in the lot - which were plentiful when I arrived and departed.
All in all, scuzzy, unprofessional and disgustingly irresponsible business here. I drove down the street to Mazda Oak Lawn (talk to Mike Christopher for a truly pleasurable experience) and purchased the same car, one year newer, with the same miles, for less than the ORIGINAL listing price Mancari had.
REPEAT - DO NOT GO HERE. YOU WILL HAVE A...
