Update to my previous review… from 1 star to 5 star……… My previous review is below the dotted line. I went back to the Hugo Boss outlet store to use my store credit. When I walked in the store I was greeted by Christopher & Michael one of them being the manager. I did all of my shopping without mentioning my previous experience. Both of them went out of their way to help me find what I was looking for and complete my purchase. When I was paying, I explained to them how frustrated I was the last time I had visited the store and that I was not expecting a good experience when I entered the store. But that to my surprise I was extremely happy with how both of them made me feel comfortable and happy through my purchase, I felt valued and appreciated as a customer. Both of them apologized for my prior experience of which they had taken no part in and the manager did everything he could to make up for my previous experience. I am extremely happy and will return. I still however, think that Hugo boss as a company should make it a little more obvious as to the return policies instead of some fine print on a small index card size sign next to the registers. All in all I highly recommend visiting the Hugo Boss outlet just keep in mind that they do not allow returns on clearance and you will only be issued a credit if you return something thank you very much to Christopher and Michael for all the help with my purchase. I should add Michael and Christopher even called me to follow up with my purchase the next day and provide me with some information on tailors near my home for the suit I had purchased. Truly outstanding service. ——————————————————————————Buyer beware!!! extremely DECEPTIVE store practices. They do not disclose that the majority of the items are not returnable, and if you are able to return them it will only be a store credit only no refund given. I spent $1,014.00 didn’t try anything in because I figured try on at home and return what dosent fit. I was able to return one item only. Manager explained that was store policy and it was clearly posted but then was unable to show a single sign that said so. He said clearance is non refundable and it’s marked we walked over and it was not. Place is a scam. Hugo boss should be embarrased. Please look at pictures from the store no where does clearance...
Read moreI was initially very hesitant about shopping at Boss. I was used to buying suits at target and generally being happy with my purchases. After I lost my suits in a house fire, a friend convinced me to give Boss a shot. We met the manager, Boaz, and he was the best help I have ever had in a store. He could just looking tell my shirt size and after he made a suggestion, he respected my interest in another suit and immediately went to work on finding appropriate ties and shirts that would match for the occasions I needed the suit for. I never felt pressured and he only brought out two items at a time so I never felt overwhelmed. He was also taking care of other customers at the same time and gave them the same attention, which I felt was impressive. I arrived at the store 20 minutes before closing time which was 7pm to find the doors locked with the employee inside of the store that quickly waved signaling that the store was closed and when I pointed to my watch, she rolled her eyes and looked away. Being the customer service so poor, I decided to take a picture of myself at the store. Soon after seeing me taking the picture, she ran to the door, excusing herself and saying that her manager asked her to close earlier. Something I doubt very much. At that point it was too late because I knew that I was not going to enjoy my shopping experience.
