Nice place. They take like 1/6 of what you bring usually. I found that they like to rifle through the neatly folded items and then return the items to you in a heap.
Service is 4/5 Clothes items are sold at near new price. 4/5 Pricing is iffy. They took 14 things of mine (mostly shoes) and only paid me $18 cash or $21 in store credit.
Theyâre very picky.
Edit: I did get a text saying there had been some miscalculations. I was owed $10 more dollars than my usual payout.
Edit 2: I came back 6/11/25 at like 9:50 in the morning. Cool. I check in, I was told that my items would be done in like an 45-HOUR. Which is fine. I am really flexible. So I wait all day. All day. Until 4:30 when I called to ask if everything was OK. I just wanted to know if I could pick up today or not as I have small kids and need to make a plan of hauling them with me.
So anyway, I get told that the items should be done soon. Cool but then, I donât get a text, I look in my email at 3:39 saying theyâll pay me $28. And I had JUST seen it come through at 4:30. So why did the person say my items would be ready later tonight or tomorrow if they just contacted me? Time received at the top of email. The ready time is 10:07am. Why am I getting notified hours later? As you can see from the email, itâs ready so I get there expecting to be paid $28. But nope. There was a mistake. They mistook me as a different Rachel. Voided my buy. Didnât finish my items and then texted the other Rachel. What they told me was that they have a lot of Rachelâs come in. Which, again, I know itâs a common name but why not just outright tell me to disregard the email. The $28 wasnât my buy. I was not owed $28. They took 10 things. Paid me $12 cash or $14 credit. With all the miscommunications, I am pretty frustrated. Docked a star. I get it humans are humans but...
Read moreI recently visited the Kid to Kid location in Wyoming and was disappointed by the experience. I had high expectations based on positive feedback I had heard, but my visit was concerning. During my time there, I observed a male employee, whose name I believe is Brian, engaging in what appeared to be unprofessional behavior with the staff. His actions seemed to make others uncomfortable, which was surprising to witness. On a separate visit, I noticed another manager, a woman with blonde hair, who seemed to leave two employees to handle what looked like an overwhelming amount of work. It struck me as an unrealistic expectation to place on just two individuals. I also noticed some cleanliness issues in the store. There was visible litter, such as food wrappers under the clothing racks, which raised concerns about hygiene. Additionally, the bathroom had a strong odor, possibly due to a soiled diaper left in the trash for an extended period. Look In another instance, I observed a customer behaving disrespectfully toward an employee, and this behavior appeared to be ignored by the staff. Itâs troubling to see this kind of environment in a workplace. While I had heard positive reviews about this store, I've also encountered negative feedback from both employees and customers. One shopper mentioned witnessing an elderly employee who remained in the same spot on the floor for two hours, seemingly disengaged from other tasks. I believe itâs important for any business to treat all individualsâemployees and customers alikeâwith respect. A safe and healthy work environment is crucial for everyone involved. Running a business comes with the responsibility of ensuring this, and I hope these observations can be taken into consideration for future...
Read moreI came here last summer when I was pregnant and had great experiences as a shopper and a seller. Today I took my entire maternity wardrobe in to sell. Items were in style and good condition. I waited well over an hour with my 3 young kids and they still hadn't touched my items. I finally headed home. When they finally gave me my buyout price via email, I was shocked. They accepted 9 items for only $20 cash or $24 store credit. That's way less than what they paid me for fewer items last summer. I feel completely ripped off. Waste of time, energy, gas, and clothing that I could've sold for more on my own. The buyer wasn't rude but she wasn't friendly, either. Overall, I regret selling to Kid to Kid Wyoming and will not be doing business with them again or recommending them to others.
*I can't reply to the owner's response so I will reply here as an update: I was led by the buyer to believe I could stay in the store and go shop next door, then come back, and receive my buyout price in 40 mins. That's what I was told. I took the drop off receipt at her advice but was told 40 mins. So I waited with my 3 kids under false pretenses. Even with the items you took, the buyout price wasn't worth my time. Your store policy is a rip off. The lower prices you offer on the items you sell are because you pay sellers beans and aren't clear about the drop off vs wait in store policy. So misleading and dishonest. Taking advantage of tired, busy, mamas who are simply trying to make ends meet for their families. Also, my name on here is different than my legal name in your system and the email addresses are different, as well. So it's odd you can look me up based on this...
