Terrible experience. Took my wedding ring when I noticed a tip was gone from the main stone. The owners son cut my ring off and gave me a price for repair, resizing, and adding shank bumps. He quoted a price for the above. I left my ring and a few days later I got a call from a female employee stating I needed a new main stone head because my old one was too far gone. I went back in the store a few days later, and they quoted me a higher price (which was fine since more work was needed) and said that didnāt include shank bumps because they were not included in the first quote. I said they were too included and itās on my ticket. The owners son said they definitely were not included and I said they were. The owner then interjected himself and said he would like to see a copy of the original ticket showing shank bumps were on the ticket. They told me it would be 200 more than the new quote to add shank bumps. I said it should be included since it was part of the original quote. I sent an employee a photo of the original ticket which clearly showed Shank bumps were in the quote. I verified that she had shown it to the owner. I never got a response back. I figured I just would not fight about it. I went in to pick up my ring, and the workmanship was not good where they added the new main stone head. It looked like there was a powdery rough substance around the new head. When I pointed it out to the two girls there were argumentative. I said I was not accepting the ring because it did not have good craftsmanship. They took it back to the jeweler and he said it was very difficult to try and work on the ring since it was a small space but he would try and get it into a better state. So I went to pick up the ring a second time and it did look much better, but there was still a bit of the rough substance around the head. The owners son really had no plausible explanation of why it was rough. I was tired of fighting about it so I just paid the bill and took the ring home. These people are full of excuses and their jeweler is no longer good at his trade. I am guessing he is just getting too old and maybe his eyesight is bad and maybe his fine motor skills are not as good as they used to be? Do not go here. Iām sure they will respond to this with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy Citizen watch band was getting too tight because of the heat(my wrist swells a little in the summer), so I went to Parry to get a link added to the band. My Mom and I were genuinely greeted as soon as we walked through the door. I feel bad I don't know his name, but this man who I presume to be the manager, effectively made my watch wearable again in record time. This isn't the first time our family has been in and every time all the associations are so warm and welcome. While I'm not a person of faith, I really like how the business is closed on God's day because I respect peoples beliefs. This business supports charity, has great customer service, and totally values their customers. If I'm lucky enough to get married I'm going to buy my wedding rings from Parry like my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came in a couple of weeks ago with my wedding set stuck on my finger. My finger was swollen from trying to pull my rings off, and I asked for the rings to be cut off. They looked at my setting and told me that it would likely break, and diamonds would fall out, and it would be destroyed if they cut it because my bands have diamonds down the sides and its a pretty delicate, filigree setting. They told me to wait for the swelling to go down and then use Windex to get them off (I had tried literally every other trick by the time I went to the jeweler). I am happy to announce that Windex did indeed do the trick. Thank you for helping me save my ring,...
