Nino’s Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Yakima

myself and some co-works ordered from nino's on 40th I was not happy with the customer service today. normaly I enjoy going in very nice people, food is great, but very poor customer service today. we had to order over the phone, to drive up and just pick up due to i have a limited time for lunch. so we figured order over the phone and pick would be perfect. there was multiple orders we had. some of my co works had never had or even heard of nino's. I told them it was really good customer service is good, they are fast with orders, food is supper yummy when we were done putting in the orders, they were very rude saying they didn't know if they can put the order in due to they had a long line. i mean i understand they get busy, but if they allow phone orders they should comply and not say idk if we can put the order due to the line. i mean if i was gonna pay over the phone i should get my order right. the person on the other line said nvm just pay here. we get there and very rude. i mean like i said i get they get busy, no need to be rude and especially when we are bring in more business. co-workers that had never been there we get order and all the order are messed up nothing was right . i dont think myself and my coworkers...

Wait time: long wait time. Very quiet and awkward in there. Should have some music playing in the background and people not looking so sad or shy.

Price: I think the price was fair for the amount of food they give you.

Quality and flavor: We got the birria tacos, birria ramen, orchata and a side or rice and beans. They give you alot of food so if you're about quantity and not flavor this is definitely a place for you. They definitely hooked it up with the meat and cheese however theres no flavor the rice and beans had no flavor, the consome for the birria tacos had a weird flavor overpowering the consome.. When eating consome you should be able to taste all the flavors even the meat however that's not the case.

The ramen they use for birria ramen is not the one I recommend using as within the minutes the noodles expanded too much for my liking they put a bunch of meat in the ramen so like I said if you're about quantity this is the place.. As far as taste it isn't something I would want to go back to and have.

It was a great experience trying new food but it all went to the garbage after trying a couple bites.

Food went downhill a long time ago. Purchased a $25 gift card 6 months ago and they added 15%gratuity. I stopped eating there because of poor service and food that was not fresh. Went to get a $25 Christmas gift certificate for somebody who still likes it and they couldn't print receipts for credit card transactions (required by state law). I requested to cancel my purchase and a receipt showing transaction canceled. They couldn't do it and made me wait while they helped 4 other customers. I asked the lady to hand write a receipt so she wrote my name and phone number on a piece of paper and handed it to me. I told her that is not a receipt so she took me next door to Why Not MyThai/Pho and made me wait while she helped another customer. She printed a ThaiPho receipt for $25 cash purchase that doesn't show the credit card transaction or cancelation. I now have a $25 charge, no refund and no gift certificate. Now I have to waste more time disputing this with my bank. This is a horrible business with so many negative reviews. They'll be out of...
