Ballesteri’s Restaurant — Restaurant in Yakima

UPDATE We haven't been back to Ballesteri in about a year. Trying to not eat out as much. We took our son and his family out to brunch. We were very disappointed. The service was mediocre compared to our last visit as well as the food. We ordered BLT. It came with 1 small piece of lettuce which was the bottom of the leaf rather than the leafy green top. The poached eggs weren't drained well causing causing soggy muffins. We requsted no tomatoes on one of the sandwhiches. However, they were added. We also asked for additional fry sauce, which we never received. Because of the service and food, I sadly don't think we'll be back

We went for breakfast and it was great! We had the Denver omlett, and the hashbrowns were cooked to perfection. I practice a low-carb lifestyle, so I asked for poached eggs with Canadian bacon and hollandaise sauce. They were so gracious about modifying my request and making it just the way I wanted it. This is a great restaurant with great food but there is a waitress who covers the breakfast crowd during the weekend who is it a brunette and she’s one of the worst waitresses I’ve ever experienced. Any newly arriving customer coming into the restaurant when she is on shift will wait 10 to 15 minutes before she even raises their head from folding Napkins and appearing to be busy behind the counter. Then when she brings you coffee she spills coffee on your table almost every time because she is so impulsive she won’t take the care that is needed to pour it carefully. She almost always has a frown on her face. This is the kind of employee that will ruin a small business like this so I hope the owners see this. Why people stay in customer service oriented jobs who can’t deliver good customer service totally baffles me. I won’t be going back for...

Horrible experience, food was not good at all. My wife and I both ordered a "meat lovers omelet " but were surprised to see your only allowed one meat. When we got the food it was bland, and didnt even have vegetables.

My wife didnt eat hers and the waitress was very rude and kept asking my wife what was wrong with her food, why dont you like it. My wife was trying to be polite and kept replying it's fine thank you, we're fine thank you. The waitress got mad and made a seen to the point where my wife was so embarrassed and went to the car crying.

Needless to say I was not happy and gave that waitress a piece of my mind and was far from nice about it. We will never go back there, and do not recomend the food which is also very over...
