The quality and quantity of the food is AMAZING and unreal!! You definitely get more then your money's worth. Try the Mi Wonton (Wonton soup w/ yellow noodle) or the Bun Thit Nuong (Dry soft rice noodle with bbq pork) - see pictures below for both. You'll notice the fresh veggies as well as insane amount of meats and wonton from the different dishes. The thit nuong (bbq pork) has AMAZING flavors compared to those VN restaurants located in Sea/WA, SF/CA, LA/CA, OC/CA. Simply epic that a small town, small restaurant compares to high quality flavors of larger metropolitan!! (Note: IF you order any of the rice noodle dishes, such as any Pho dishes, they MAKE their own Noodle! So all the Pho Noodles are FRESH! You'll notice they'll have a large conveyor type machine in the back - that Machine takes all the hand made flour that they prepare late every night and the machine will crank out the symmetric noodle strands for your eating enjoyment DAILY!) This is by far the BEST Asian (and Vietnamese) restaurant in Town!! Be warned of another Pho place in Union Gap, that place has changed owners the food there is inconsistent and uses packaged noodles (you've been warned). We've been to "Why Not Pho Kitchen" since their Grand Opening, the owner is nice and she hires local young teens to help them out and support the area. I love places that gives back to their community. This is by far the most authentic Vietnamese dining experience in the County. To make it feel more authentic, the owners load up traditional Vietnamese Music - in local traditional language. Another reviewer is complaining about it, but how would you feel if I walked into a Mexican restaurant and you're playing Mexican songs? Why should you play American Country songs? I hope the other reviewer wakes up and stop hating on small businesses trying to make customers feel like they're in another country ordering authentic local foods. If you get a chance, also check out their coffee and boba milk tea selection. Comparable prices to other Chinese/Thai/VN restaurants in the area, but the flavor and a lot higher quality. Milkier flavor, smoother taste and firm (yet chewy) boba. Do yourself a favor and check it out first hand. Support your local business and help the community grow!! Enjoy and Cheers!!!

they got rid of the banh mi — absolutely devastated. most of the items in the menu start at $16 which isn’t really a great option for lunch. the banh mi sandwich is practically addicting! i can’t get enough of this place. we often get boba and pho — both are fab compared to the food options on the west side of yakima. the space is clean and the tables are well spaced. we eat here probably once a month and it’s always good. UPDATE: Changed my rating (thank you for the thoughtful response and for changing your name) but still absolutely heart broken it’s no longer Vietnamese.

If you love the smell of lavender fabulosa floor cleaner then this is your spot. We came during lunch so a wait is expected but they brought us out the wrong food and had to wait 30 minutes for our actual food to come out. My green curry was topped with old basil (i put fresh basil in it to see if it would turn brown. It did not. the basil in the photo is how the dish came out from the kitchen). I was freezing cold the entire time wearing a jacket and long sleeve shirt. Do not recommend coming here if you want quick, helpful service.

I was a regular customer here. The food has always been good. Tonight, on Mother's Day, my wife chose here to order for her Mother's Day dinner. When we got it there was absolutely no sauce on the Pad Thai. The green curry was loaded with onions, which they don't normally put in there. My wife does not like onions and has order the green curry multiple times, it has NEVER had onions in it. It also had no flavor or spice AT ALL. Finally, the rice WAS NOT COOKED ALL THE WAY.

We called them to let them know what was wrong (we never call or return wrong food, but this was so bad and on Mother's Day that we felt we needed to). We were informed that they would not remake our food because they were 30 minutes from closing and the only way to get a refund was to bring back the food. I told them that we had already eaten the gyoza (which was DELICIOUS) and drank the Thai Teas but because of the inconvenience of bringing the food back and it being a MOTHER'S DAY dinner (our kids were at home eating their food without my wife while we were dealing with this), we wanted a full refund. They refused.

We brought the food back and again asked for a full refund, they still refused. I asked for a manager and was told one wasn't there. We took our partial refund and informed them that we will be calling a manager tomorrow. The woman we were talking with was extremely rude and acted like she didn't care. She said well, we are busy so we won't remake anything.

As we left, another customer chased us down and told us to make sure we call. Apparently, her husband's meal was completely wrong and she was going someplace else to get food because they wouldn't remake it. She also let us know that while she was there eating she saw at least 4 other customers bring food back in.

My mother-in-law also ordered from there tonight and they were missing 3 full meals from their order when they picked it up. I am unsure if she was able to get a refund or food replacement.

This is unacceptable customer service and we will...

A friend introduced me to this place and we really liked the pad Thai. Always very fresh and for once the chicken wasn’t dry like it at so many other places. I hadn’t been in a while so thought I’d order take out. Called for a half an hour no answer so stopped by. The gal was super nice as I placed my order and told her about the phone situation. She let me know they have changed the menu. Pad Thai now comes with rice and salad. I asked if I could just order the pad Thai and she said no problem. When I got home I was surprised to she the large slices of carrots and mushrooms. The carrots were good but I do not care for mushrooms at all. I’ve had a lot of pad Thai in my time and have never had it served with mushrooms. Some might find this as a great surprise. I did not. She had said the dropped the price a couple of dollars but with that the portion is much smaller. I did take a pic of the new menu and it’s much smaller. That is totally understandable but guess I need to be careful and inquire about the ingredients if I order again. I should have taken a pic to post but didn’t think about it until it was too late. The only reason I gave it three stars is because of the mushrooms and much...
