If you are looking to have your morning ruined because your barista got up on the wrong side bed, man is this the place for you! If you are looking to be degraded by a barista because you had an order that was TOO big, or she couldn’t hear you and it offended her somehow, come here!!!!! I even let her know that I was happy to take my business elsewhere because she seemed more PO’d with my money than anything else, and her only response was “well no, we will still make it. But we only have 2 people here” blah blah blah. I made it clear FROM THE BEGINNING I was happy to wait 30 minutes because I understood short staffing and she still had an attitude. I’ve never let anyone speak to me with half of the disrespect that one of their baristas spoke to me with. One of their staff members was so disrespectful to me when I was pregnant that I left LITERALLY SOBBING, and this is back when I was a daily regular. And that’s only my experience!

In the last 3-4 weeks, I have had THREE friends/family members come to me with the same (if not worse) story! One of their messages literally started with “dude I actually had to leave Mak Daddy before I started crying.” It’s pathetic! Highly recommend giving your money to a business that...

The barista acted bothered when asked to make drinks for a very large conference that was held there. It was rented so you would think they would have the staff to make that many drinks. They let the coffee shots sit there longer than three seconds, because I saw it with my own eyes, which makes the coffee bitter. When asked for extra suite and even pay for it, the coffee was still very bitter as of no flavoring was in it probably because they left the shot sitting there too long It took such a long time to get her drinks. When leaving the conference, several of their employees were sitting on a table just chitchatting, and when people from the conference came out, yes, we were loud and talkative and enjoying ourselves because the conference was over. All they (there employees) could do was give a stink face, because apparently we were too loud for these young little girls who work at this coffee shop, maybe go home and study costumer service! Also, I witness several of them vaping behind the counter all they would do was squat down and decide they were going to smoke while making coffee. I saw the owners daughter do this several times! Horrible, horrible...

I live very nearby this establishment, and I'm absolutely in love with the place! I very much appreciate how the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. Whenever I need to get some work done in a different environment or decompress, this is the perfect spot. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and I always feel right at home here.

If you're a coffee lover like me, you definitely have to try their seductively rich and flavorful brew. If you're looking for a snack to go with your drink, they have some amazing menu items as well. The breakfast bagels are my favorite!

Overall, I can't recommend this place enough. MAK Daddy makes the coffee at other joints taste like hot garbage juice. No hyperbole there. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and...
