Michaels — Local services in Yorba Linda

Michael's is a great store if you do crafting. But if you're looking for something different, and it isn't about crafting, you won't find much. However, they have an excellent framing department, people who are expert, and the custom frames are usually on sale (and always the standard frames are too.) They will also let you make one change on a customer framing for free: I had a picture they frames with 3 mats, and one of them just didn't look right, so I went back and they changed the mat which meant they had to deconstruct the whole framing and make it look as good as it did initially - and didn't...

The store itself was lovely, fully into Christmas, nicely stocked and displayed. My only issue was the online order system. I have ordered online frequently and this is the first time I received the notice the order was ready, arrived 4 hours later to pick it up, only to find it had, in fact, not been pulled, resulting in a shortage of the items I ordered (I actually "pulled" my own order as the items were displayed right up front).
