Like any store of this nature, every time you go it's a different experience. Once I went to the shop in Irvine and found nothing to my liking, and the next day I went to the shop in Foothill Ranch and bought three pieces of furniture. Inventory constantly changes so you have to go back repeatedly to get the hang of maneuvering through this store. Initially the prices may seem higher than expected, but many pieces of furniture are new or nearly new, unlike Salvation Army or Goodwill Stores. I'd shop at this store first before going to any retail store to replace any of my home's furnishings 'cause you never know what you'll find. I once bought a huge, beautiful wrought iron lantern for my 25-foot foyer ceiling and paid only $50 for it. A steal! I still get compliments on this piece and everyone wants to know where I bought it. It was so heavy that my electrician had to super-reinforce the ceiling in order to hang it safely. It was laying on the floor in the back of the shop and the average person would probably walk right by it, not realizing the savings to be had from purchasing it there as opposed to a retail store. Another time about four years ago, I purchased a vintage (1930's) solid oak sideboard with barley twist legs for $175, again, a steal for the price. My family room's dark green cotton velvet sofa, made by Thomasville, was also purchased at this store, for $300. It was brand new, still with the tags on it. My small solid maple writing desk came from this store and I bought it for $140. You just have to keep going back and you have to know your prices to appreciate some of the items regularly found in this store. I recommend the Foothill Ranch store over the Irvine location. It just seems to have...
Read moreWORST PLACE EVER to consign your furniture to. They can at their whim lower your listed price by 20%. In my case they called me, I thought they had a buyer at a lower price I approved that price for sale then they lower that price by 20% again, Then they gave me 1/2 of that already 1/2 off number. WOW I could have placed my furniture on the curb in from of my house and received money money for it. I called the Manager Laurie to try and figure out why the check they sent me was so low and to let her know how unhappy I was, she explained what happened and said well that's it.. I got the feeling she does this all the time. I would NEVER recommend using this store and frankly, in my opinion it is a bait and switch at Best....I will never use them again I learned my mistake. Please don't make the same mistake I did. List your stuff on craigslist or Ebay...don't just give it away at this place....Sincerely, Local Anaheim Hills resident...
Read moreGreat selection and wonderful sales staff. Pamela was great to work with from my first call to the store for information, to my measuring and decision of making my selection and pulling the tag (this shows that the piece is spoken for) while I finished looking around, to recommendation of delivery service, to me calling back to the store to thank her. Very pro business. Mr. Medina, who delivered my purchases was fantastic to work with as well. I was impressed with the vast and mostly upscale (as opposed to just a "used furniture" place/garage sale type of business). Interesting selection from the "normal" to some very unique pieces. Check out the larger than life raring iron horses...
