I have read many reviews, all being very similar with this place. Ppl praise it for an indoor playtime activity for children that YC desperately needed. However, the consensus is pretty unanimous when it comes to their birthday parties. They are awful.
We were told the birthday parties are 2 hours, with one hour of private party time, followed by the second hour open to the public. BUT we were told that when they opened to the public, it would be limited to no more than 5 children. When we arrived we were first told that we could only have 12 ppl at the party, not 12 children, 12 PEOPLE. As a family with two parents, and 3 children, thatās almost half of the party right there. This was never discussed. We were told 10 children would be allowed, fine, but not a maximum on people. The party room is fairly large and this was a 1st birthday party with grandparents and family members attending. Most ppl stayed in the party room, not as if they were disturbing the play area. Second, we were told in writing by the owner, John, that only 5 families would be allowed once they went public. The manager told us no, they would allow as many as capacity accepted. We only had about 7 kids attending so this allowed for them to have quite a lot of customers. They did not care that we had it in writing from the owner, they said that was their policy. Also, as stated, we were told we would get an hour of private time followed by them opening to the public. They unfortunately still allow for ppl to be in the lobby, which is fine, however children donāt understand that itās closed and they have to wait. Little kids ended up standing at the gate, screaming and having full meltdowns/tantrums until staff finally gave in and said they could go inside. This was 45 minutes into our private time. So we were shorted time we were allotted and were lied to about the policy on outsiders. They also donāt allow for setup/take down time. Thatās included in your two hour party and you do it all yourself. All in all, terrible experience. Playing is fine, but I would actively dissuade someone from having a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter arguing with the owner for asking a disabled child to go through the back door for a birthday party, Iād have to say Iām pissed. He was more worried about possible marking on the mat, than hurting this 3 year olds feelings. I could write for days the amount of things completely wrong with this place. We were left unattended by the only employee in the faculty for almost 20 minutes because āshe had an accidentā and needed to run home. The outlet boxes hanging from the wall. The community towel to dry your hands off (gross, especially with all the icky stuff going around) Oh wait, they covered the only fire exit with a blow up bounce house!!! Iām overall just disgusted with the whole experience. I was suggesting them to everybody,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAmazing place for kids lots of fun !!! Staff is always so welcoming and friendly. I take my son who is 4 years old and my daughter is 2 and they both have a blast! They never want to leave. I usually go in the morning and the young lady who is there is always so friendly and welcoming. She is great with both of my kids. My son is autistic and she allows him to go into the rainbow area when he is feeling overwhelmed which is great. The rainbow area is for 2 and under. I also appreciate that the music is not to loud so itās not overwhelming for my son. My son had a hard time socializing with kids his age or basically anyone and has improved so much since we started going. They maintain everything really clean even when...
