Michaels — Local services in Yuba City

They always have good clearance and coupons. Would be nice if they priced matched with Joanns. Doesnt take that long to go through checkout either. The only negative thing is a one time bad experience with a cashier. I got a clearance item that didnt ring up on clearance. I told her it was that they are discontinued the whole section. That I had bought some a few days ago and needed more. She asked someone to check by saying I claim they are in clearance and that I allegedly bought some a few days ago. I told her that what she said was rude and showed her my receipt. She said doesnt mean they are on sale now. The person she asked didnt even have to check, they came up and told her that the whole section is on sale. That they are getting rid of them. This one experience hasn't stopped me from going...

Went in and it was empty, we found what we needed but did also find that a lot of the shelves were empty. Had a really big selection of Candy Melts, but totally lacking Wilton stuff! What happened to all of the Wilton sprinkles? Everything in the baking section seems to be Sweet Tooth Fairy brand now, I would say 90% of the baking aisle was that. Which is ok, but some stuff I prefer Wilton. I did find some scored in the small clearance section and oddly enough everything was Wilton lol but luckily enough what I was looking for was in the clearance section! The store didn’t seem as tidy as other Michael’s I’ve been to, but maybe they are short staffed? We only saw one employee while we were there shopping. I would come back here, hopefully its just a staffing...

The staff at Michaels is always going above and beyond to make sure the customers feel welcomed. In particular I would like to point out Michael, Michael is an employee who stands out because he makes that small talk while working with his customers making sure they leave the store with what they are looking for. A local store or community store should be about feeling like you are apart of it, known there, feel like a regular customer and Michael does that!
