Del Taco — Restaurant in Yuba City

over a period of time, I found foreign objects in my food,my order was wrong, the restrooms were dirty, some of the staff were rude but the food is cheap and im poor and broke so I stuck it out a little one morning I went through the drive through to buy food I told the cashier there was three dollars on my card and I would give her the rest in cash.she ran my card and wanted to charge my card some odd number.I explained to the girl 3 times theres three dollars on my card and i would give her the rest in cash so shes runs my card a few more times and wants to put cash on my order before shes uses my card. I really dont know if this girl was high, bumped her head or if there was something wrong with her all together, by now another employee shows up runs my card and tells me theres no money on my card...I know there was money on my card cause I had just checked with the bank...so I ask for my card and money back, the next day the bank showed the girl ran my card for 2 dollars and some odd cents and then again for a dollar and some odd cents...I call to complain about the girl and what happened but 1. the phone rang and rang and rang...2. when finally someone picked up ib told them I wanted to complain about something the guy on the phone said "call back later im in the middle of lunch" I said no, I want to talk to a manager, he said " I am the manager" I started to explain what happened the other day and he said he knew and that he was there and tryed to tell me there was no money on that card...I explained she had ran my card and I got a couple of charges to my card he Said I would have to talk to the owner...now he didn't say im sorry about the mix up, he didnt ask how can I make this right...he literally wanted to argue...needless to say I wont be eating there ever again...theres a few places around town I dont eat cause the food is bad and the service sucks....I been trying to get a hold of the owner for a short while now but everytime I call the owner is conveniently for the sake of the manager...

The food is good and fresh. The service is fairly fast, but the workers lately have been Rude with a capital R. I order thru mobile and pick up my order in Drive Thru. I used to have Drive Thru employees hand me my food with a smile. Now they just hand me my food without even looking at me. If they do say “Have a nice day it’s very unenthusiastic. I’m not sure if they hate their jobs, but they will be getting $20 an hour. I was a longtime customer. I got rid of of most Fast Food apps decided to eat healthier this year, but decided to keep Del Taco as their food didn’t seem overly processed. That is until now. I don’t plan to ever eat at the Yuba City establishment again.

Edit: I arrived at around 4 p.m March 7,2024. The Dtive thru worker almost acted didaimful when she handed me my food. One of the few times I can ever recall feeling like trash after orderimg a meal. Unacceptable behavior for a Drive thru employee.

Double Edit: I plan to eat there again ( occasionally) because it’s the better fast food near me. But rudeness when I myself am being polite and respectful is uncalled for. I would rather go to a worse tasting food place if the staff actually treat you like a...

11/2/2024 PROS: Mercedes took our dine-in order and her customer service is amazing! She's so nice, informative, great attitude, doesn't mind answering questions, and goes above and beyond to cater to customers requests. Best customer service we've had anywhere in a long time! SHE gets a 5 star review! The food has mixed reviews.

The food FLAVOR was delicious, crunchy tacos were fresh and made neatly, the regular fries and steak fries were amazing, soft grilled chicken taco was amazing, and the ghost pepper sauce was really good!

CONS: Although everything TASTED delicious, the burger was smashed and sloppy, the burrito was poorly wrapped with mostly beans and barely any meat, the chicken strips were literally just long nuggets and not very good, the steak fries were absolutely delicious BUT had not so fresh guac and the "steak" looked more like chopped...
