Sutter Buttes Olive Oil Co. Office/Warehouse — Local services in Yuba City

Product still good, but availability and customer service has gone into the gutter. They have relocated to this Yuba City location, gotten rid of their Sutter tasting room and their store. No longer can you go in and taste test. There is no more popping in and grabbing off the shelf. There is only one bookcase with a few oils/products on it and if you want something else, the staff in the new location will have pull things for you or have an order waiting for you if you order online and want to pick up. However, the staff are a little snarkier as if they have to get up from their little cubies to help someone, you have put them out. So, if you like running in and getting an impulse buy of some olives or need your oils, it won't happen. There is no signage on their new place and parking sucks bad. I'm switching small town orchards or hitting Sunsweet's store. If I have to go into town, I might as well just go to Sunsweet. Another one bites the dust. I really enjoy their dark raspberry vinegar and the olive oils, especially butter flavor. However, I ordered a cherry balsamic vinegar thinking it had natural cherry flavor (since the company seems to pride themselves on their natural ingredients), but it was cherry flavor that tastes like cough drops to me. I called customer service and was told there is zero they will do. Not even a 10% discount for me to buy a different vinegar. To me, that is the sign of a company who doesn’t care about their customers. Therefore, I no longer care to give them my money. Bye...

This shop is so cute! They have a great selection of local goodies, perfect for gifts or a little something for yourself. The two ladies working at the desk were so kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

We visited right before Christmas and got $10 mystery bags, which were such a fun idea! The bags were packed with items worth well over $10, and we loved getting to try some new things. We ended up buying several items for gifts and for ourselves, and everything was fantastic.
