Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Yuba City

The person preparing my small chicken salad for the order was not what i expected. Usually this place has very friendly employees but not this time. I did not get the name because there was no name tag but the person preparing the food was insensitive and rude. She put very little chicken on my chicken salad and when i asked her for a little more, she took the smallest piece she could find and dropped on the plate which seemed rude and arrogant. She did not seem polite or patient.

The cashier on the other hand was very generous with the dressing, polite and patient but it wasnt enough to make uo for the attitude of the person preparing. The food is always great but the attitude of the ine preparing the food really ruined my appetite. I was going to walk out without paying because it upset me but since i was ordering for 3 people I didn't think it would be right. Not what i expected!

Although the previous post was months ago, unfortunately i don't feel anything has improved. The majority of their individual foods are contaminated with other foods around and because I can't have cheese, the server threw a fit because i was unhappy that the sauces were contaminated with cheese. Overall, it's a very messy...

THEY ARE NOT ENFORCING SOCIAL DISTANCING AT THIS LOCATION!! I ordered my food yesterday and waited for the two separate customers in front of me to move up (one was at the register, the other was at the middle point of the food line.) I placed my order with the young man with longer hair in a hair net. I ordered one thing and he asked if that was all, I said yes. Now instead of waiting for the line to move forward he ushered two people forward where they ended up inches from me. Uncomfortable with that, I moved up a tiny bit between the small space I had with the woman in front of me. The first customer at the register at this point had now already paid so the lady in front of me was now at the register. I was then able to move up to once again stay 6 feet away from the couple behind me but once again as I was paying the man working ushered a group of 3 more people forward. So now between the lady at the register and the front of the line where you order there were 5 people within my 6 feet of space. This place should not be operating and I hope this gets reported to the CDC because the workers actions are...

When I came here they were very busy. I got a burrito and the dough wasn't cooked all the way. The flavors are not that good. Everything is very plain. The chicken itself at least to me seems dry. And they charge ridiculous amount for some add on stuff. You don't get bang for your buck. Especially when they are busy, the portion size are miniscule.

The staff is okay. Nothing to especial. One of the lady got mad at me cause I asked for a small tortilla and my bowl/burrito was suppose to have a large. I didn't know it was my first time, that was my mistake.

I most likely won't be returning to this place anytime soon. Two ⭐ because the people I was with liked the food. I am a firm believer in second chance. But not anytime soon.

The decor is is very crowded for my taste. They have tables literally everywhere. And the outside seating is not very clean. Overall I give them thumbs down. But honestly do try them out, maybe you will like them, and hopefully your experience is...
