Milk Thistle is an otherworldly and amazing place, a must-see for those passing through Joshua Tree and a gem and community hub for locals here in town! Corinna and her team are welcoming, knowledgeable and intent on building community through educational workshops and art openings.

I’ve stopped by Milk Thistle many times for candles, postcards and tinctures, for supplies for my Emotional Intelligence class, and gifts for loved ones—and have each time experienced guidance and support with finding the perfect items I’m looking for. The curated selection of tarot decks and candles is next level, since this shop makes a point to support talented local makers. As a local healing arts practitioner, this is my first stop for supplies.

The highlight of my experiences here has been Tarot, Astrology and Ancestral readings with Corinna and a Tarot reading with Jaya. Corinna is a truly gifted practitioner and reader who brings refreshing directness to sessions. Each time I’ve chosen to work with her has brought zingers of clarity to my situation and spiritual quandary of the moment. Jaya’s approach is heartfelt and energetic and I’ve had lots of fun working with her, even when exploring challenging themes.

wow - what an amazing place to reflect and reset. i initially came here in 2023 for a drop in reading (15 minutes) with corinna and it was an impactful experience that has been on my mind for a couple years. here we are in 2025 and i had the pleasure of booking a couple appointments online in advance: a 30 minute tarot reading as well as an astrology and birth chart reading and i was grateful to have corinna (again!).

i started with the tarot reading and it was a little (LOT) on the nose with how great it was. lots of laughs. the cards never lie!! for my birth chart reading, i appreciated that corinna had done so much preparation beforehand, so when it came time to do my chart reading, we got right into discussion. it can be a lot, but there is a lot of support and opportunity to ask as many or as little questions as you'd like.

milk thistle is an absolute must stop for anyone craving reflection and guidance. i'd also like to thank leah / lia (spelling!) for creating such a lovely special tea blend for me based on my needs! lia / leah was very warm and kind in asking questions to identify certain herbs that would work well for me. i love this place and cannot recommend it enough. i hope to return in a couple years for my nodal return (or sooner)...

Woman who runs this shop is rude as heck. She doesn't allow free or any speech in her shop unless you purchase something. My friend was verbally abused in this shop by the owner. I will never go into this shop.

Reply to your reply. You're a LIAR! I know for a fact it was her third time in the shop because she contacted me this morning asking me where she could buy specific kind of candles. She used to go to another shop across from the Frontier Cafe which is now closed. I don't believe a word you're saying you're a liar. If the person she was speaking to was uncomfortable why wasn't that person able to speak up for herself? I know for a fact, that the individual she was speaking to owes her money and used to be her neighbor.
