I will apologize in advance for the wordy review but I simply cannot give enough stars and love for Cactus and Oak Spa!!! I had originally sought a local esthetician that had the most natural products possible with a natural healthy mindset. In a small town like Yucca Valley, I thought it might be hard - and then to my surprise I found Morgan, the owner of Cactus and Oak Spa. I’m a 50 year old woman (well 49 when I found Cactus and Oak) who NEVER took care of her skin. (Like one time, I bought a bottle of proactiv 🤣 … that bad.) I have worshipped the sun, didn’t wear facial sunscreen, rarely washed my face before bed. (Don't wear much makeup, didn’t think it mattered) Didn’t care. Big mistake. My first two appointments were with Morgan. Id never had a facial before - and instantly fell in love with her!! But it was more about that for me - I needed to feel safe in that space as well as know that the products being put on my skin were safe as well. Morgan was absolutely magical, my facials were fantastic. She explained everything to me in great detail and by the time I left I truly felt like a new woman with a relaxed, renewed feeling like I’d never felt. I really enjoyed the Reiki sessions which I had also never done before. Morgan has a wonderful gift! ⭐️ When Morgan left to go on maternity leave I was bummed because I had just found HER and really wanted to continue my new self care journey! While she was out - she assured us that Starlin would be taking care of us in the meantime. I was hesitant, but booked my next appointment with Starlin. I have been seeing Starlin for months now - and I don’t even know where to start with her. Starlin is such a fabulous, knowledgeable, gentle caring soul - she has been top notch from day one. Every appointment with her is a dream - I look forward to it so much. My skin quality has improved so tremendously I want to scream from the rooftops. My pores are smaller, WAY less hyper pigmentation, fine lines reduced, overall quality of skin is SO improved, softer, more hydrated, shall I go on?? Not to mention the relaxation and comfort I feel while I’m there. My dream was always to FEEL beautiful without “coverup” and now I am there. 🙏 Now, my manly man husband is going (I insisted he give it a try) and he did and loved it too. He can’t wait to go again!! Skin care IS self care - I do regret never doing it but now that (WE) are doing it we’ll never NOT do it. I highly recommend Cactus and Oak Spa in case that isn’t obvious already!! In this review I will express why I am happy and sad at the same time having been a client at Cactus & Oak Spa. Happy, because I finally, after so many years of searching for a fantastic esthetician, had found the most talented and trustworthy skin care professional in Morgan. Sad, because I moved from the high desert and no longer will be able to get pampered by Morgan. The treatments I would get included facial waxing, which can be done only two ways, right or wrong. And Morgan has been the best I’ve experience in my life. I am 56 and can attest to how difficult it is to find someone who is patient and thorough at that delicate task, she uses great wax at the proper temperature and gently applies a light oil after the treatment. It has happened to me to get my wax treatment just before a dinner night out and have absolutely no redness, feeling beautiful and confident only 15 minutes after the waxing. I would also get my legs and bikini line waxed and again, great job there. Her facials are an absolute moment of intense relaxation, and although it is thorough treatments, she has such a gentle way that when done, I felt extremely relaxed and my skin was radiant! Morgan also advised me on skin care and products but never tried to push a sell on me. She is sweet, intelligent and we’ve had a chance to have many great conversations about life, she is very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend anyone I know in this region to go and try her out, you will never go else where after getting your first pampering at Cactus & Oaks Spa. And if you are just passing by for a vacation in the region, treat yourself to one of her fantastic facials… you may just end up feeling like me, happy that you finally found the most wonderful talented skincare professional , and sad when back in your home town that you no longer can be...

The experience at Cactus & Oak Spa is something everyone should indulge in!!! My skin was in need of some help. Between the mask and weather changing - I couldn’t keep my skin hydrated or clear of breakouts. After 1 facial with Morgan, my skin felt incredible and I was hooked!!!! The organic, plant based products she uses are clean and natural- your skin will drink it up!! My face has never felt so hydrated and refreshed!!! My daughter also had a facial this same day. She has struggled with acne for years now. We’ve tried everything over the counter and a list of prescription medications (oral and topical) without improvement. Morgan dug deeper and asked questions about her diet and life style. She recommended some diet changes, along with a new customized skin care regimen - with products available to purchase in house (green envee) and they are even affordably priced!
