We've been here 3 times. First time was because I was taking my little brother around to locals to see which shops he likes the best, he chose this one. So the second tike we come in we sell him 5 cards. Went well, we gave them lots of props on their shop and the folks friendliness who worked there and had a good rest of our day. My brother is 13 and didnt even know you could sell pokemon cards. So this is all new to him.
Cut to today, we go in, he has 3 cards he's looking to offload, however. They were redoing their binders today and a lot of cards apparently were unaccounted for.
My brother offers the cards and the folks working immediately started whispering that he stole them.
Mind you, I went through his binder days before we even hit the first card shop and we sat there looking up prices before going anywhere. He stole nothing. To even insinuate that a 13 year old just getting into the space is jacking cards he owns and then 2 days later coming back to the same shop and trying to sell them back, you are grown adults. Yall need to do way way better.
Outside of that, store is hard to find, dingy, smelly (not unusual for these shops, and they have almost no stock. They are convention peddlers at best.

Read moreSecond chances are sometimes the best. I went back in after a bad experience, and Bry (pronounced Bree, like the town in Lord of the Rings) was awesome. I must've been in there over 2 hours, going through Magic cards, talking about gaming, and just having a grand time, like I used to when I was a teen at the long-gone Hank's Hobby Shop. Bry was friendly, happy, and eager to help, and I went home with more than I expected to, for sure. I highly recommend this place. My next time, I hope to actually get in a game or two...
