Uptown Creamery — Restaurant in Zephyrhills

Disappointed. That’s what comes to mind. This “creamery” had very few flavor choices, no toppings and NO specialities (i.e., fudge, caramel, nuts, crumbled Oreo etc). Correction, they did have 1 topping…SPRINKLES. My husband and I got a chocolate malt and it did not taste like one at all.

The girl behind the counter was not friendly at all. My husband always wants something with peanut butter so I asked if this was the full menu and pointed to the small chalkboard, she simply replied “Yep”.

We took our son, 4 of our grandkids so we made the best of it. We did enjoy playing checkers and a few games while there (some pieces missing but that is to be expected). While sitting there we watched 2 families walk out. This could be a great place for families to come and hang out for a little while or even for seniors but they are definitely missing the mark and a great opportunity. It simply needs a little more focus...

When you walk in the door it smells Heavenly. That would be their homemade waffle cones you are smelling! Smack dab in the middle of town, right on Main St this lovely shop has graced Zephyrhills. Awesome staff who are friendly and know their icecream! The icecream is quality, homemade and unique. I get sad when a favorite flavor of mine runs out, but I have complete and total faith that whatever the new flavors are will be just as great if not better. And yes I'm going to mention their waffles again because they are worth mentioning. These cones are made to order, so every time you go you will receive an amazing icecream nice and cold sitting in a nice warm freshly made waffle cone. Icecream can't get any better than what they have going on at Uptown Creamery. Thank you...

This place is awesome! A coworker told me this was like ColdStone but it’s not and that’s okay. When we first got there I asked if my son could taste the waffle cone since he didn’t know if he would want it. Initially they said no but when I explained he was on the spectrum and never had it before they made us a small sample to try. This really meant a lot to us! We ordered for waffle cones (2 cookies and cream with sprinkles, plain vanilla and a vanilla heath caramel) and a cup of vanilla heath caramel.
