I went in Friday September 10th, I was looking to dye my hair to blend in the gray. The owner of the company suggested to the stylist to do low lights. Which I have never had before. With some highlights. Once I got home I was like no I don’t like this and this is not what I was looking for. I thought we’ll, let’s see what it looks like after i wash it. It was the weekend. I called and left a msg for the stylist on Saturday. I never received a call back. I know she doesn’t work on Monday’s. She called me on Tuesday, thank goodness because I was about to call her. I told her I was not happy with my hair and is there something we can do to fix it? She said sure. Her schedule was busy until Tuesday November 9th. I said ok I will take it but asked her or told her that I didn’t think I should have to pay full price for a fix. She said oh no we won’t do that. We will fix it for you. All this is being said on the telephone. I go to my appointment and everything seems fine but my hair seems very dark and the light streaks look purplish. I go to the front counter so I can pull out a $10 bill to tip the stylist and she says it will be $120.00. I said no this is a fix remember. She said give me a second and gets the owner. The owner comes over and says we gave you what you wanted. I said no! I never said anything about low lights you did to the stylist so that is what she did. Then when I called her to let her know I was not happy she said there would not be another charge. She said well I will take off $20.00 and then you will need to find a new stylist from now on. The owner even offered to fix my hair and get me a Uber there and back over an hour and each way. She’s terrible has to have sew ins even with short hair…. Terrible. She just graduated school and as most of you know they will graduate ANYONE. Jamie stop doing hair in the middle of making a tik tok of my hair before and after she touched it. Over toned it. Fried it. I have thick colombian hair so she even managed to ruin that. She shouldn’t be working at a salon she should be taking an extra couple classes at school. Look at her hair….biggest mistake I’ve made Reply to the owner : I have every message between Jamie and I my hair was NOT damaged when I walked in I was unhappy with the color of my ROOTS. why would I have her apply more bleach to my hair if I already thought it was damaged?? Now you’re just a liar! She overtoned and fried my bangs completely to the point I had to cut my bangs short…. She was literally googling what to do as she went along! Why in the world would I come back to your salon to fix my hair after that you really need better help.she also had another client come in before she was done with my hair and tried to style it WET. horrible experience glamhousehouston is a much better salon or Monaco salon in tampa. Speaks volumes itself you were willing to get me a ride there and gone over an hour each way! Read moreVery Disappointed!!! I asked for a 70's Feather cut. Was told it would not be an issue, They knew how to do the cut. I specifically said that I did Not want a straight blunt cut at the bottom. That is exactly what they did. As they were cutting I was asking questions to make sure we were on the same page. The hair dresser called her mother to come and do the so called feathering cut with a razor. Going by how they both we're cutting I continued to ask questions knowing they weren't cutting it properly to achieve the look I wanted. Because I apparently ran over my alotted time, the mother finished the job stating that the stylist had another client to do. Also stating that Another stylist would be a better fit for what I was asking for. It's a shame I wasn't told this from the beginning or I would've waited. When I called for the appointment I informed them that my hair was close to waist length trying to make sure I would get someone that knew what they were doing. During my cut, I also learnt that these young stylist had only been out of school a year. To bad I wasn't informed about that either or I would have gone elsewhere to a more seasoned stylist. Now, I am stuck with Short somewhat layered hair. Maybe if your a young person these stylist would be okay, but not an older client unless they have extremely short hair.
